Spanish La Liga Week 4
Barcelona vs Valencia (Sunday 5am AEST)
It has been an extremely interesting start to the Spanish La Liga this season, as both Real Madrid and Barcelona sit outside the top four through three rounds with just one win each. Barcelona will look to get their season back on track as they host Valencia on Sunday morning.
Barcelona have a 1-1-1 record through three games, their loss coming at the hands of Athletic Bilbao in Week 1. They bounced back in Week 2 with a 5-2 home win over Real Betis but couldn’t back it up on the road as they finished 2-2 with Osasuna on the weekend. They’ll be back at home against Valencia, who also have a 1-1-1 record through three games.
Valencia have maintained a fantastic record against Barcelona in recent history. They travelled to Camp Nou and picked up a win in the Cop del Rey just a few months ago and managed two draws against Barcelona in the La Liga last season. With their record and Barcelona out of form, we think there’s value in Valencia here.
German Bundesliga Week 4
RB Leipzig vs Bayern Munich (Sunday 2.30am AEST)
A clash between 1st and 2nd on the table headlines the action in the Bundesliga this weekend as RB Leipzig hosts Bayern Munich on Sunday morning. Leipzig are perfect through three games this season with wins over FC Union Berlin, E Frankfurt and Borussia Monchengladbach. They have allowed just two goals in the three games but have their toughest defensive assignment this week against Munich.
Bayern Munich started the year off a bit sluggish with a 2-2 draw against Hertha BSC at home. They have since gone on to win their next two games in dominant fashion, a 3-0 win over Schalke in Week 2 followed by a 6-1 demolition job of FSV Mainz 05 on the weekend. There were six different goal scorers in the win, including Lewandowski, who now takes his season tally to six through just three games.
It’s not often that you’ll find odds as juicy as $1.90 for Bayern Munich in a Bundesliga game, whether at home or away. Happy to side with one of the best teams in the world at that price, any day, on any pitch.

French Ligue 1 Week 5
Paris Saint Germain vs Strasbourg (Sunday 1.30am AEST)
PSG have settled in at the top of the French Ligue 1 table and likely won’t be dismantled for the rest of the season. Through four games, they have a 3-0-1 record with their only loss coming at the hands of Rennes in Week 2. They have kept a clean sheet in all three of their wins, a 3-0 win over Nimes in Week 1, a 4-0 win over Toulouse in Week 3 and a 2-0 win over Metz on the weekend.
Strasbourg is yet to record a win on the season, but have picked up three draws through the opening four games to sit in 17th place on the ladder. They also suffered their only loss of the season at the hands of Rennes, but picked up a quality 2-2 draw at home against Monaco in their last game.
PSG start as almost unbackable favourites here, and it’s not hard to see why. They have barely even looked like conceding a goal when playing a side outside of the top four and this week should be no different, especially back on home soil.
