Wyong Racing Tips: Wednesday, December 10th 2025
Race 1: The Mercure Kooindah Waters Heroes Of Hospitality BM64 1600m - 1:45pm (AEDT)
(1) Oakfield Saturn: 4YO Mare who brings a tidy record of 7: 2-2-2 and continues to build nicely this preparation. She was competitive in her first two runs back before finishing just outside the placings last start over the mile, where she was in the market. Now fourth up, she should be approaching peak fitness, and the inside draw gives her every opportunity to secure the run of the race. The booking of Jason Collett is another positive, and on her best figures she profiles as a proper winning chance. Rates highly and should be right in the finish.
(3) Uncle Harry: 5YO comes into this off the back of a strong last-start victory over this trip at Newcastle, showcasing a sharp turn of foot and a willingness to surge through the line. He maps to get another favourable run from a good draw, and with confidence boosted, he looks well placed to go on with it. The small field only enhances his prospects, ensuring he can settle comfortably and produce his run at the right time. A key player once again.

Race 3: Ebh Building Group Provincial BM68 1200m - 2:55pm (AEDT)
(1) Confess Our Dreams: We were keen to have something on her last start at big odds before she was a late scratching, and she now returns a month between runs in what still shapes as a very winnable race. The 3kg claim brings her down to a manageable 59.5kg, and her natural early toe should allow her to take control of the race from the outset. If she finds the front comfortably, she’ll give them plenty to chase. Happy to be in her corner again.
(5) Smiling Prophet: Returned in emphatic fashion when bolting in by 2L in open company at Muswellbrook, showcasing she’s come back in terrific order. This is a tougher assignment, but she drops slightly in weight, draws to get a soft run, and C. Reith sticks, which is always a positive sign. With natural improvement second up, she stays firmly in the conversation. Respect.
(8) Spice Baby: The deserved favourite who made a statement on debut with a dominant win before measuring up well in two stronger races since. She now finds a more suitable assignment and should only be improving further third up. Major Player

Race 6: Magic Millions Wyong 3YO/4YO Stakes 1200m - 4:40pm (AEDT)
(2) King Of Roseau: A talented gelding who strung together three consecutive wins last campaign before heading for a break including a 1.5L win at G3 level to close things out. He resumed in Listed grade on a heavy track, conditions that offered him no favours, but he’ll relish getting back onto firmer footing here. Expect sharp improvement second up, and from a good draw he should position up ideally. Rates on top and looks primed to bounce back.
(3) Spywire: Outstanding first-up winner over 1000m in BM78 company while carrying a hefty 61kg, and the form has since been franked with Hawkers Hall coming out and winning a BM88 at Rosehill. He strips fitter second up, drops in weight, and brings the right platform to go on with it. Hard to fault and the benchmark of the race.
(9) O’ole: Resumed in Group 3 company, which proved a tough ask fresh, but she has since trialled strongly and now drops back into a far more suitable race. With that run under the belt and a kinder setup here, she is capable of sharp improvement. A genuine winning chance in this grade.
