Each week every contestant will need to tip the correct result for a match they specifically designate and think they will predict successfully. If the team tipped wins the match then you progress through to the next round. However, if you tip incorrectly then you are eliminated from the competition and are no longer taking part in the Last Man Standing. If the match ends in a draw, everyone will automatically progress through to the next round.
Piece of cake, right?
Well, from the start of Round 14 all of the remaining tipsters will need to correctly tip the game line for the chosen match to be able to advance through to the next round. For example, if the Knights are favoured with a +6.5 line and the Raiders have a line of -6.5, to tip the correct result, you would need to not only pick the right team but pick the appropriate margin within the line. Therefore, if you tipped the Knights, you would need the Knights to win by 7 or more points.
Joining is simple. All that is required is a Palmerbet account with a unique profile name. Then all you have to do is register to play and make your weekly tips to have a chance at the five-figure first prize.
The Last Man Standing competition kicks off for the opening week of the NRL season. The competition will continue each week until there is only one participant remaining and that person will be crowned the Last Man Standing! To participate in this competition you must have registered and made your selection before 7.30pm AEST on 5th March 2015.
