Back yet again with racing at Warwick Farm. Not a lot stood out as a solid bet here but there were a few short-priced runners we identified as relatively good chances. Hopefully with some luck they can salute and give us a neat return for the day.

Warwick Farm Racing Tips: Wednesday March 1st 2023
Race 4
(3) Sanstoc was electric 1st up demolishing her rivals easily. She’s against the mares again here and can repeat that win quite easily I suspect.
(6) Arranmore was uncharacteristically poor against Sanstoc when beaten over 5L. James McDonald will be looking to improve sharply on that performance aboard this horse here and can do so.
(5) Minouche went ok last time 2nd up. Can improve further now with extra fitness but will need to if she’s going to contest the finish of this race.
(3) Sanstoc - Win

Race 6
(3) Headwall could arguably be undefeated in his career having been relatively unlucky not to get more racing room sooner when returning last start over 1000m. He’s back over 1000m again from gate 1 and should be winning with even luck.
(6) Lascars was tight for room in the same race as Headwall last time but didn’t appear to be going quite as well. Not much between them in that regard so he goes in for 2nd.
(2) Washington Towers is a big price for a horse with so much experience over these sprint trips. Billy Owen is 3/6 aboard this horse and he looks the likely leader.
(3) Headwall - Win

Race 8
(6) Black Duke was held up last time in the same race as Amortal. He went the better of the 2 horses to my eye so deserves to be shorter than Amortal here. He’s also drawn for a better run in gate 3 and so should be hard to beat.
(9) Amortal is 2nd pick coming out of the same race where he performed well. Should do so again with James McDonald on his back.
(5) Miss Fox is going well but slightly mixing her form. She can run well again here but will need to turn up which she hasn’t done consistently.
(6) Black Duke - Each Way
