Warriors vs Titans Prediction & Tips: 2026 NRL Round 7
A statement victory
A large statement was made by the Warriors last week in their 38-14 road victory over the Storm. Only leading 18-14 at HT, they kicked into another gear in the second half. Overall, the reason for their success was in their effort and execution; with 54% possession they completed at 88%, made significantly more metres, had 518 PCM’s, and 6 line breaks. Their execution at the end of attacking sets was great and they used this to their advantage. This standard is pleasing and one that they must maintain if they are to strive for consistency.
A timely strong performance
For just the second time this season, the Titans tasted victory. This one was more pleasing than their first, with a 52-10 road victory over the Eels highlighting their strong attacking capabilities that was established from strong defence. The 9 try display showcased their dynamic nature. Surprisingly, with 52% possession, they completed at just 76%, averaged 10.5m per carry, made a massive 644 PCM’s, and created 10 line breaks. Despite missing 33 tackles, they scrambled well when it mattered and gave their opponents limited attacking opportunities. If this could be replicated, they will begin to find consistency.
Stats that matter
- The home team has won just 1 of the past 6 matches. When it comes to their record at this ground, the Warriors (56%) are superior to the Titans (40%).
- The Warriors perform better than the Titans on both sides of the ball in 2026. They average 32ppg in attack compared to the Titans 21ppg and concede just 19ppg whereas the Titans leak 24ppg.
- The average margin of victory from the past 5 matches between these two sides is 19 points but that is skewed by a 60 point victory to the Titans. The other 4 matches have been decided by 14 points or less, with 3 games under 10 points. They have been high scoring affairs though, with the average of 51.8ppg from the same number of matches.
Warriors set a benchmark the Titans are yet to reach
Unfortunately for the visitors, capturing victory seems beyond them. Despite a spirited performance last week, this week will offer a new set of challenges altogether. The weakness of their opponents gave them more opportunities than they earned. It will be a vastly different story this week as the Warriors are one of the most disciplined teams in the competition. They build a strong platform in the middle and will aim to overpower their opponents in the first half. Just like last week, they should pull away in the second half; fatigue will also play a factor as the Titans have a short turnaround to contend with on top of a trip across to New Zealand. That makes it likely that they will cover the line also, which probably should’ve been set higher given the disparity between the two sides so far in season 2026.

Warriors vs Titans Same Game Multi
Leg 1 = Total points over 49.5 – see above for justification.
Leg 2 = Watene-Zelezniak to score – he is a man in form scoring 5 tries in the past 2 weeks and 7 in his past 5 matches. DWZ has 2 tries at this ground most recently and despite not performing well recently against the Titans, will be prominent in finishing attacking movements.
Leg 3 = Halasima to score – it has been a quiet few weeks for the powerful, wide running back rower as he hasn’t scored. You cannot keep him out of the action for long though and with a different defensive line in front of him, Halasima will find more opportunities than previously presented.
