On Wednesday night, Aussie boxing superstar Tim Tszyu will be looking to get back on track when he faces up-and-coming American Anthony Velazquez at a catchweight of 157 pounds. We bring you our preview and best bet for that fight, plus the Sam Goodman vs Tyler Blizzard fight below. Good luck to everyone following along!

Boxing Predictions & Betting Tips
Tim Tszyu vs. Anthony Velazquez
Just two years ago, Tszyu was on track for total world domination, but now finds himself back Down Under, desperate to stop a frightening skid. The 31-year-old has lost three of his last four fights after previously being 24-0.
Luckily for him, Velazquez is a seriously cushy opponent to face. The American will hope to capitalise on these psychological scars and add to his own 18-0-1 record. But if the Aussie is even half the fighter he once was he will finish him easily.
Tszyu has cut ties with his team and moved to work under Pedro Diaz, an old-school boxing trainer. He is, in my opinion, the perfect man to get the best out of Tszyu. Perfect fundamentals, tighter feet and better distance management are all things the Aussie needs to focus on.
As long as Tszyu isn’t completely washed, this should be a walk in the park. He will work the body hard and push a pace. The only concern I have is if he shells up after taking his first hard shot. He needs a dominant performance to get his confidence back and get him back to being considered a serious fighter. Tszyu has the perfect opponent, who is flat-footed, does little else but headhunt, and hasn’t fought absolute plodders over in the US. His last fight was against Terry Chatwood, who was on a two-fight skid, was 41 years old and is the definition of a regional journeyman.
If Tszyu has taken this fight seriously, he should stop Velazquez in the opening rounds, if not minutes here, so bet accordingly.

Sam Goodman vs. Tyler Blizzard
This is a fight between two men with plenty of history and bad blood. It is a rematch of a memorable fight they had as amateurs. Blizzard emerged the victor on that occasion, and it is one Goodman will definitely want back.
But now a decade on, Goodman is the far superior boxer and therefore is the deserving clear favourite. Goodman is expected to win by decision, but I see him stopping him. It will be a dirty fight, where Goodman will land the sharper punches and likely stop his foe around the midway point as the damage piles up. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Blizzard quit on the stool either, as I don’t think he has the dedication or grit that Goodman does.

Callum Peters vs. Cody Beekin
Peters is expected to run through Beekin in this fight, but I think it will be far tougher for him to do that than the market suggests. At the time of writing, there are only head-to-head odds available. But by Wednesday, I expect there to be a market for the fight to go the distance and that I am keen to back.
The hype is off the charts for Peters, but Beekin has shown real improvement in the past two years since losing to Joel Pavlides, who recently lost to Joel Camilleri, one of the few men to go all the way with Tim Tszyu.
This fight should go the distance.
