St Kilda vs Gold Coast Prediction & Tips: 2025 AFL Round 11
Saints Seek Redemption After Loss to Eagles
The Saints became the first team in 2025 to lose to the West Coast Eagles when they travelled to Perth last week. After the embarrassing performance, they will be desperate for redemption as they return to Marvel Stadium, where they have played their best footy this season. Jack Higgins continues to be a bright spot in the Saints disappointing season so far, currently sitting just five goals off the Coleman Medal leader, far and away the best small forward in the game with 28 goals.
Suns Struggle to Shine Under the Roof
Predictably, the Suns start as firm favourites on Sunday despite being on the road. They have a 7-2 record with some strong victories over the Western Bulldogs and Hawthorn in recent weeks, currently sitting in third place on the ladder. Their form at Marvel, however, has been dismal in recent history. They have won just three of their last 12 games at Marvel Stadium dating back to the start of the 2022 season. They have lost their last five in a row against the Saints at Marvel and 9 of their last 10 overall against them.
Ross Lyon Swings the Axe
Ross Lyon has made a host of omissions after the dismal performance against the Eagles last week, dropping Angus McLennan, Lance Collard and Hugo Garcia while Jack Macrae will also miss through injury. Coming into the side are Zak Jones, Hunter Clark, Hugh Boxshall and Isaac Keeler. The Suns will make just one change, with Ethan Read coming in for Ned Moyle.
Saints or Suns? Here’s our Carlton vs GWS Tip
The Saints will relish the opportunity to get back under the roof at Marvel Stadium, but the Suns are one of the form teams in the competition and have real threats in all the wrong places for the Saints. St Kilda has a serious lack of key defenders at the moment, and Gold Coast possesses a huge three pronged forward line with Ben King, Jed Walter and Ethan Read. They should also have complete control in the midfield battle here, another part of the ground where the Saints have struggled this season. Anderson, Rowell, Miller and co. will be too much for the Saints to handle, expect them to cover the 12.5 point line.

St Kilda vs Gold Coast Player Prop Bet: Long Time Coming for Former Saint
Our Best Player Prop: Ben Long 2+ Goals
Ben Long could never quite put it together for a full season at the Saints, resulting in him making the move north a few years ago. 2025 has been a breakout year for the 27 year old, becoming one of the more dangerous small forwards in the league. He has booted 19 in 8 games this year and should get a favourable matchup against an undermanned Saints forward line.

Saints vs Suns: Same Game Multi
Gold Coast H2H - Think the Saints are really in dire straits at the moment, particularly their defence, which will struggle mightily against the height of the Suns forward line. Can’t see them being competitive here so doubling down on the Suns H2H.
Marcus Windhager 20+ DIisposals - Should be more CBA appearances on offer with Macrae out of the side this week and Windhager looks the likely Saint to see some of them. Should get a job on either Noah Anderson or Matt Rowell as well, so will be around the ball plenty.
Touk Miller 20+ Disposals - Going about his business with no fuss this year, racking up 20+ in all 9 of his games so far this year. Averages 25.9 on the season.
