Sha Tin Racing Tips: Sunday November 5th
Race 2: Grace One Hcp (C4) – 1200m (15:30 AEST)
(8) Beauty Destiny has trialled phenomenally since his throat surgery after a poor performance in June of this year. He’s been extremely short and well-supported in his 2 career races and could be ready to pounce this time at much more appealing odds.
(2) I Give is impossible to leave out with a hat-trick of wins behind him now. The wide gate and big weight are going to be a challenge but the horse races on speed and with some luck he should be in the finish.
(9) Lucky Quality is a phenomenal price here given his record at this trip and the barrier he’s drawn today. He’s had wide barriers to contend with for some time recently but did manage to win in this grade 4 starts ago. Right in this.

Race 4: Canmake Tokyo Hcp (C4) – 1600m (16:30 AEST)
(9) Pakistan Friend is a hat-trick winner and drawn barrier 1 but somehow isn’t even favourite for the race? I think there’s massive value in his current price and am keen to back him given how he’s been racing of late.
(7) Master Hero has been racing Aestheticism lately but can jump cleaner and settle handier than his rival here. Much better barrier today should also help.
(10) Aestheticism needs to improve his barrier manners if he’s to go on top for me. He’s too much of a risk of being slowly away and giving himself a lot of ground to make up in the straight.

Race 9: La Estephe Hcp (C3) – 1200m (19:15 AEST)
(12) Greenwich is more than capable of winning this from barrier 3. He worked to the lead from barrier 12 last time and was just caught late after working so hard early. With an easier run from a better draw here, he’s the one to beat.
(1) Beauty Crescent has to go in if Greenwich is on top here. This horse beat Greenwich home but had a softer run. Can run well again.
(10) Lady’s Choice has plenty of upside having only race 10 times. Zac Purton remains aboard here and although he’s drawn poorly aboard this horse, he was drawn worse last time and went down in a photo finish.
