Race 4
(3) Daring Pursuit looks progressive and has shown plenty of ability leading up to this point in his short career. He put it all together last time to break his maiden status and there’s no reason he can’t go back-to-back from a good gate in this race.
(13) Sixth Generation looks the biggest danger in the race mapping well and having consistently performed well in recent races. He can win if he gets the breaks.
(6) D Star was not super impressive winning last time but he got the job done. Often horses who manage a win can string a few together and there’s no reason this horse can’t at least run well again.
(3) Daring Pursuit win

Race 5
Chilli Baba cannot be favourite in this race from such a wide gate and 60.5kg to carry. He won nicely and looks a talented horse but that price is unders. (9) Super Highway gets gate 3, won 2 starts ago and has Karis Teetan riding for the 3rd consecutive race. He’s primed for a perfect run on the speedmap and should be fully fit now well into his preparation. E/w odds on offer looks good.
(7) Timestorm ran well last time without the best of luck. If he gets some more luck this time he can definitely run well from a good gate with Hugh Bowman on board.
(1) Chilli Baba as mentioned is too short here but has to be respected as a main chance. Couldn’t back him at the price so have to wait and see if he can overcome the wide gate and big weight.

Race 6
The dominance of (1) Supreme Lucky’s win last time is enough for me to go again here. Drawn well and is a strong horse so should handle top weight. He maps well and has plenty of his closest rivals in the market drawn wide so can take advantage of that disparity and put pay to this field today.
(2) Brave Dreams was rolled by Daring Pursuit last time so could have his form franked by the time this race is ready to run. The biggest query with this horse is his ability to win rather than just place.
(3) Excellent Fighter is drawn wide and may struggle with 60kg from out there. Will be interested to see how he handles those challenges while stepping up to 1200m for the first time and going around a bend.
