Sha Tin returns this weekend for a 10-race meeting which presents quite a few betting opportunities. We've identified a number of runners who are well in the market today and look very hard to beat. Let's keep the excitement going from yesterday's phenomenal Autumn racing action in Australia!
Sha Tin Racing Tips: Sunday February 19th
Race 1
(6) Ernest Feeling can go back-to-back here. This is a very weak race with a long tail so it looks like it’s just about a race in 3 between the top 3 picks here. Ernest Feeling looks marginally the best pick of the three with Fortune Master being very hard to catch and Smart Folks drawn the carpark.
(10) Fortune Master is some danger in the race but as mentioned doesn’t win often and can be hard to catch. With Zac Purton aboard he’s a threat but not a betting proposition.
(5) Smart Folks rounds out an obvious top three in this event but he’s drawn wide which has me leaning the way of the other 2 selections. If he’s able to overcome the wide draw and reach the lead he’ll be right in this.

Race 7
(7) Carroll Street hasn’t been seen since he was reported lame by vets in June last year. He’s an exceptional talent and was beginning to show promise before the injury setback. He returns today off the back of 3 impressive trial wins and looks ready to go 1st up down the straight.
(4) Ping Hai Galaxy won as a slight surprise two runs back and was never really a factor at Happy Valley last time over 1200m. 1000m at Sha Tin is more suitable and the horse can give a good sight.
(2) Whizz Kid has mixed his form of late and isn’t the most trustworthy runner. That said, his best is probably good enough provided he can overcome the 61kg.
(7) Carroll Street win

Race 9
(10) Youthful Deal has this race to lose. After running 2nd to Beauty Eternal last time, he returns to go one better with Beauty Eternal having progressed out of this class. Vincent Ho is in good form and rides from gate 4 so the horse should be positioned perfectly to win this.
(6) Supreme Lucky is drawn wider this time around but has won two on the trot and is looking for a hat-trick today. If he overcomes the poor draw he’s a definite chance, just a slight risk from out wide.
(1) Brilliant Way was poor last time when 10th by a long way but recent trial indicates he could be back on track. Was a winner the race prior and his best can be competitive here.
(10) Youthful Deal win
