Rosehill Racing Tips – Saturday, March 11th 2023
Race 3
(5) Dynamic Impact was unlucky not to win or go better last time after drawing a wide gate and ending up in last place. He worked home impressively late over the 1200m and gets up to 1350m this time in the same grade. Worth a shot at an e/w price here.
(2) Tamerlane is in winning form after back-to-back successes before his latest spell. If he returns in the same form, he’s going to be a big threat in this event.
(4) Finepoint is resuming here and has never lost under James McDonald. Only query is if the mare will be better 2nd or 3rd up when getting towards the mile but she can still run well here.
(5) Dynamic Impact - Each Way

Race 8
(14) Espiona has been given extremely high praise at times throughout her short career. She backed up some claims that she’s a mare on the up when winning impressively at Sandown in the Mannerism. I like the dry conditions for her on Saturday and expect in-form Michael Dee to get very close if not win yet another group 1 race.
(3) Hope In Your Heart is the best horse in this race. She has excelled in every test she’s faced so far giving no impression she won’t do the same on Saturday. Tim Clark knows her well so she looks like a great chance here but I’m concerned about her on a dry track.
(1) Hinged should find this contest much easier than trying to beat Anamoe in her last 2 starts. James McDonald has pounced to take this ride and it’s no surprise given this mare brings the strongest form with her into the Coolmore.
(14) Espiona - Each Way
$8.90/$3.20 (1 Unit)
Race 9
(1) Bandersnatch is quite clearly the horse to be with in this race for mine. He was good 1st up behind Think About It when jumping well but taking a hold before kicking strongly in the straight to hold off a fast-finishing Sibaaq for 3rd. I liked the grit of that performance and expect Bandersnatch to settle leader’s back from gate 2 if he jumps well on Saturday.
(4) Sibaaq has already been mentioned above and goes in as 2nd pick having finished alongside Bandersnatch 1st up. I think that horse has Sibaaq’s measure but there will likely be very little between them again.
(6) Welwal is a horse I’m keeping an eye on. He’s going to go around at big prices now that he’s flopped a few times in Australia but at his best he’s going to be competitive and could bob up to win one at a nice price. Could do worse than have something small on e/w.
