(2) Plundering ($2.90) 3YO Gelding who started his career off with 2 straight wins. Impressive win second up on the heavy deck where he won by almost 3 lengths. Relishes the wet track and rises in trip after a nice third first up. Must be respected here.
(9) Aurinko $8.50/$2.60 3YO filly who broke her maiden last start. Proven on the soft track and would expect her to attempt at backing it up. Rises in trip and will be charging late. Each way chance.

Race 3: Bowermans BM78 1400m (2:00pm AEST)
(6) King Of The Castle $3.80 – Third up today and should be fit enough for this. Proven on the wet. Ran a nice race last start, but the winner was just too good for them that race. Nash to steer is a tick too.
(3) From The Bush ($8/$2.50) This 6YO gelding has terrific form for this race. The conditions look ideal for him here. Loves the wet track and is generally competitive fresh. Also proven over this distance and has had a nice trial 2 weeks ago. Looks value.

(1) Naval College $2.80 English horse who had a nice start here LS where he was Narrowly beaten. Gets a class drop here with a 3kg claim. Puts him right in this and should be winning.

Race 7: Paulele @ Darley BM72 1400m (4:20pm AEST)
(8) Strombus $4.20 Beat King Of The Castle tipped in race 3 comfortable LS and bloused the field. Same again here, but adds 2kg. Draws a nice gate and is proven on the wet over this distance. Early market suggest the money is pouring.
(10) Semana $2.90 The drifting favourite who has built a nice resume early in her career. J Mac in the saddle is always a tick, but the rise in class is the query? Will be around the mark and if the rain comes and offers a heavy deck, worth a go.
