Randwick-Kensington Racing Tips: Wednesday, June 25th 2025
Race 4: Remembering John Ryan BM72 - 1350m – 2:45pm (AEST)
(3) California Sunrise $4.40: 4YO Mare who is a rather honest type with 9 placings from her 11 starts. She was classy last start reeling them in to score on the line over 1400m in this grade. She drops back in trip now slightly, but gets a handy draw, so can be expected to be positioned much better throughout. Terrific on the soft and loves this track. Early market support suggests she is a major player.
(6) Frosty Girl $3.50: 3YO Filly who was very impressive on debut exploding through to the line to win by 2L against her rivals. J-Mac stays on and she has trailed again since. She looks a promising type and deserves to be in the market off that debut performance. On top.
(10) Indefensible $9.50/$2.80: The value runner of the field who has produced two wins in a row since Jeffy Penza jumped on. She is rock hard fit for this fourth up run and gets a handy draw. Continues to improve and looks a nice value play. Sniff.
(6) Frosty Girl
$3.50 (2 Units)
Race 6: Broadsiding @ Darley BM72 - 1550m – 3:55pm (AEST)
(5) Pink Shalala $4.00: 4YO gelding who we have been on for his last two starts and he has hit the line nicely, but hasn’t been able to win. He is rock hard fit and J-Mac has decided to stay on top. He is knocking on the door and isn’t far away from a win. Capable of winning. This is D-day.
(8) Lady Boss $5.50/$2.10: 4YO Mare who has also been knocking on the door and has produced some nice late sectionals before only being nutted late in the run last time out. Among the dangers again.
(14) Kadall $7.50/$2.60: 4YO Gelding who stuck on nicely in this grade last start and was only narrowly beaten. Rises in trip now looks a slight concern, but he has been consistent of late. Gets a 2kg claim engaged which puts him in this okay. Sticky gate, so needs some luck. If things go right he can win.
(5) Pink Shalala
$4.00 (1 Unit)
Race 7: Tab BM72 - 1300m - 4:30pm (AEST)
(1) Getafix $5.00: 3YO Gelding who returns from a let up and gets right back in a much more winnable grade. His last two starts have been in a BM88 and the Hawkesbury Guineas where he wasn’t completely disgraced. Last time he tackled this trip/grade he only narrowly missed out. He is a proven wet tracker and will have plenty of admirers back in 72 grade. Chance.
(7) Lugh $5.50/$2.10: 4YO Gelding who has impressed thus far with 3 wins from 4 attempts. He has trialled leading into this first up run and he is 2 from 2 when resuming. Only defeat comes on the wet track which is the only query. Draws well and will likely be running on. 2kg claim engaged also boosts confidence.
(15) Hawker Hall $6.50/$2.30: 3YO Gelding who has returned in good order notching up 2 wins from the 3 runs this campaign. He dictated to his liking last start and never looked like being defeated. Draws wide today, but with his early speed he can hopefully get to the front and use similar tactics to last start. Rock hard fit and proven on the wet. Jason COLLETT stays on and is unbeaten when aboard.
(15) Hawker Hall E/W
$6.50/$2.30 (1U/2U)
