A seven-race card is set for this midweek at Randwick this time round. We will see two maidens to start us off followed by five BM72s. Track condition is currently set for a good track, but watch and monitor for any changes. All selections made at 4:30pm AEST on the 31st of July 2023.

Race 3: Bivouac @ Darley 1800m BM72 at 2:00pm (AEST)
(8) VILLADEN – 4YO who we tipped last week at Canterbury and he only just missed, but we scored with a nice each way price. J-Mac stays in the saddle and I’m confident he can bring it to these again on the quick back up. Draws well and will be humming late.
(2) THE MILKYBAR KID – Terrific horse who only had the one run last prep and then came 4th as favourite first up. Gets a rise in trip here and should be fitter for that run. Very capable horse and will take catching.

(6) BAT OUT OF HELL – 4YO who flew home last start to fill the minors at this track. Looks the horse to beat on paper and gets J-Mac booked in the saddle. Expect him to be hitting the line well to salute for punters. Looks a good win bet.

(8) HOWGOODAREYOU – 4YO mare who debuted with a handy win at Hawksbury and then followed up at Rosehill with a narrow second. Draws the pole and should lead and be hard to beat here. Third up and ready to get back on the winners list. Goes well.
(1) GOOD OMENS – The top weight who won a nice race last outing and gets a nice claim with Lloyd in the saddle. Proven over this trip and looks a nice value bet.

(8) DAKOTA VROOM – 4YO mare who won very well in a BM64 and then failed to fire last start against this grade. Happy to forgive and have another crack. Very open race on paper, but with McEvoy to steer and third up, I think we are in for a sniff at a nice price. Each way play.
