We’re back at Randwick midweek with a seven-race card with two maidens and five BM72 races. The rail is out 5m for the entirety. Nil track condition currently listed for the track, but anticipating a soft track with showers predicted. The first race will get underway at 1:25pm AEST and the last will commence at 4:55pm.

Race 3: Magnum & Hellmans BM72 1550m at 2:35pm AEST
(5) BARANOF ($6.50/$2) – 5YO gelding who has been racing well, includes an 8th two back, but was only a length off the winner. Draws a nice gate today and has raced well with PARR in the saddle. Will prefer the track to be dry for him to be at his best but expect him to still goes well here at an each way price.
(4) AMOR VICTORIOUS ($2.10) – Last start winner who won well and gets back in grade here. Will need to carry an extra 6.5kg from that run. Draws well and is well placed here with J Mac on board.

Race 5: PKF Global BM72 1400M at 3:45pm AEST
(3) MISSION VALUE ($12/$3.40) – 5YO who should give punters some value here after her first to runs this prep being ordinary, however last prep he provided some good runs. Third up now and should be fitter for the run and gets an extra 200m in trip which looks ideal. Expect a bold run otherwise the sack file may come out.
(2) STROMBUS ($3.80) – 5YO gelding who has been racing well and loves this track. Won well two back over this track/distance and then was beaten a length by Anagain who has been flying of late. Will need to lug 60kg, but big chance to win again.

Race 6: PKF Newcastle BM72 1150m at 4:20pm AEST
(8) MILLYBELLA ($10/$3.10) – 4YO mare who was impressive last start flying home late to fill the minors. Gets an extra 150m on that run which will ensure she picks them all up this time round. Draws a wide gate, so expect her to get midfield/back and will need another big run late to salute. Goes well.
(2) SECAUTION ($3.90) – 4YO mare who flew late to narrowly win last start in this grade. Gets up and extra 150m which looks ideal off that run. Proven on the wet track and will be fitter second up. Goes well.
