Randwick Racing Tips: Saturday, July 15th 2023
Race 6: Bm88 Hcp – 1400m (14:05 AEST)
(7) Vienna Princess was badly held up last start and she would’ve won with clear room. She’s flying this prep and will win again with even luck.
(9) Cosmic Minerva is a highly rated horse but he’s constantly heavily favoured in the market and is yet to live up to all the hype.
(3) Battleton was enormous winning last start in the final stride. He beat a good one there in Resonator so is right in this.
(7) Vienna Princess - Win

Race 7: F&M Bm78 Hcp – 1400m (14:40 AEST)
(1) Overriding stepped up to city races last start and overcame bad luck to win in the final stages of the race. Flying and can continue the picket fence here.
(9) Miss Ostend is over the odds. Was good 1st up over unsuitable distance, held up last time and good late when clear. 3rd up this time and she’s up to 1400m which should help.
(5) Fearnought wasn’t far away last time and can perform similarly here in a similar race. She’s drawn less favourably but can overcome that to fill the minors.

Race 8: Bm78 Hcp. – 1600m (15:20 AEST)
(7) Gracilistyla goes in the numbers again this weekend as he’s well overdue for a win and needs to repay his followers who have been hard done by so far this prep. Finished just off Resonator last time who was favoured by a leader’s bias.
(2) Ita is a personal favourite and can threaten over 1600m here with Dylan Gibbons in the saddle coming off an enormous weekend last week.
(3) Stonecoat is building an impressive record and did beat Battleton last start who has won since. Interesting to see how he measures up.
