Randwick hosts a 10 race card on Saturday with the Darley Missile Stakes (GROUP 2) as the key feature which is worth $300k. The program will once again be a tough one with the heavy conditions remaining in place. The first race commences at 11:30am and the last concludes at 4:55pm AEST. The rail is True and Conditions are set to be HEAVY. watch and monitor.

Race 4: Chandon BM72 – 1400m - 1:15pm (AEST)
(1) Stardeel $3.70: 4YO Gelding who we tipped last start and he was terrific on the heavy deck saluting by 3L. Remains on the heavy track and Parr for Baker continues to be a good strike rate. He looks to only be improving and has to be considered again.
(5) Amreekiyah $2.20: Undefeated 4YO Mare. She was classy first up lugging 61kg and jumped at $1.70. Clearly a talented type and continuing to improve. Plenty of punters will be looking her way.
(9) Atelier $13.00/$4.50: 4YO Mare who boasts a tidy little CV with 3 wins from the 6 career starts. Resumes today where she is proven. Runs well on the soft deck, so expecting the heavy conditions to be okay. Drawn well and Chad Schofield to steer. Roughie of the field.

Race 8: Darley Missile Stakes – GROUP 2 – 1200m - 3:40pm (AEST)
(1) Private Eye $2.50: Classy veteran who was very sound when resuming in the Group 1 Stradbroke, finishing a close third behind WAR MACHINE and YELLOW BRICK. That effort showed he still has plenty to offer at the top level. He has since trialled stylishly and will strip much fitter second-up. This assignment looks a touch easier on paper, and he certainly rates highly in this field. Boasts an outstanding career record and from a low draw, he maps to enjoy a soft run just off the speed. With Nash Rawiller sticking, everything looks in place for a strong showing. Genuine Group-class performer who looks extremely hard to hold out.
(2) Robusto $7.00/$2.10: Parr for Baker. Done a good job last start over 1500m in the Winter Challenge when lugging 60kg. He has gone for a three week freshen and is now back to 1200m which is the only query. Yet to score over this trip. Genuine wet tracker and will have fans. Each way.
(3) Encap $18.00/$4.00: Roughie of the field who can play a role here and comes into this off a trial win at Warwick Farm. He is a genuine type and finished amongst the placegetters in the Doncaster last time out which is good form for this. Blow out hope.

Race 10: Drinkewise Mile BM78 - 1600m – 4:55pm (AEST)
(3) Puntin $5.00: 4YO who has been sound this campaign and we tipped him last start where he was plonked in the market, SP’d at $2. Led and loomed to be the winner, but was flat down the straight and the backmarkers who took the outside lane went straight past him. Hard to lead over 1800m and wasn’t in the best going, so happy to forgive that. Runs prior were terrific with a solid second behind Oh Diamond Lil who since franked that form. Expect improvement back to the mile.
(5) Nana’s Wish $10.00/$3.10: This honest 6YO mare has been in terrific form since relocating to Sydney, posting back-to-back classy wins before a solid effort last start over 1800m, where she was held up at a key stage and couldn’t match the winner late. Drops back to the mile here, which looks a much more suitable trip for her. She’s rock-hard fit, thrives in wet conditions, and maps to get the run of the race from a favourable draw. The 2kg claim from Anna Roper gets her in light and only enhances her appeal. Well-placed and looks excellent value in this.
(6) Glad You Think So $4.00: 5YO Gelding who had a lovely run in transit last time out and was sensational through to the line to score. J-Mac now gets on and the early market push boosts confidence. Ready to go on with it.
