Royal Randwick hosts a 10-race card on Saturday with the Premiers Cup, Shadow Stakes and Winx Stakes as the key features. The first race commences at 11:45am AEST and the last concludes at 5:05pm AEST. The rail is out 3m for the entirety and conditions are set to be soft. Watch and monitor.

Race 5: National Jockeys Trust Premiers Cup 2000m – 2:05pm (AEST)
(3) Eliyass $2.00: 6YO Gelding who is unbeaten from 5 attempts over this trip and is also 7 wins and 2 seconds from his 9 start career. Draws a nice gate here and must be respected. Looks to be an exciting stayer to watch this season. Tim Clark for Waterhouse & Bott. Hard to beat.
(6) Touristic $7.00: Winner over this trip 3 back carrying 60.5kg which was impressive. Placed two seconds since and is in good form. Worth though at a nice price.
(7) Redstone Well $6.50: 6YO who showed some promise last start and looks as though he will only improve over further. Early market support is a good sign. Goes well.

Race 6: Darley Silver Shadow Stakes 1200m - 2:50pm (AEST)
(1) Manaal $2.80: 3YO Filly who is resuming today in Stakes grade after finishing her last prep with 3 consecutive group 1s. (Includes a G1 Win) Prior to those three outings she won comfortably at G2 level over this trip. Returns to racing with two handy trials under he belt and she is slightly more experienced than the others she meets today. Group 1 winner and being competitive at Group 1 level puts her a class above these others one at this stage. She draws a nice enough gate today and maps to sit midfield as she tends to be slowish away, but makes up for it with her exhilarating TOF down the straight. Jason COLLETT who knows her well gets back into the saddle and she looks to be the one to beat here. Go well.
(4) Amneena $5.00: Resuming filly who trialled well leading into this. She was dominant on debut and second up before finishing second at Flemington in open grade. Last start finished 9th, but less than 3L behind the winners ENEEZA and LADY OF CAMELOT. (GOOD FORM). Must be respected here.
(8) Silmarillion $21.00/$4.80: Roughie of the field who has been consistent and wasn’t that far away when resuming. The winner from that race appears to be no slouch either. Blow out hope here.

Race 8: Winx Stakes 1400m – 3:50pm (AEST)
(5) Riff Rocket $8.00/$2.40: Very talented 4YO who is unbeaten fresh and goes well on the soft track. Early market support suggests he will give this a shake and must be respected off last preps form.
(6) Fan Girl $2.30: The very talented Mare who will have plenty of supporters again this prep. Resuming today and J-Mac has decided to stick with her instead of the stable mate VIA SISTINA. She gets in really well here first up with set weights and must be respected on her form. Goes well fresh and loves a bit of give in the ground. Maps to probably lob at the rear, but she will be hooning late. If there is any rain about and the track becomes worse than SOFT 7 id suggest no bet. Top hope.
(7) Via Sistina $6.50: 7YO mare who is a classy type, but id prefer to see her over further. However, she goes well fresh and has matched it with the best previously. Watch the market?
