Race 4: TAB Adrian Knox Stakes 2000m – 2:10pm (AEDT)
(1) Autumn Angel $2.70: 3YO filly who was gutsy last start to win carrying top weight and lost the rein in the final stages, but still found to win and hold off the swoopers. Prior to that she was an absolute horror show and stewards queried the rider who made an error to not peel out. Sprouted wings late there to run 6th, but never given a chance. Third up now and back to G3 level with Money Mark ZAHRA to steer. Draws an okay gate to give her a nice sit midfield and is proven on the weather effected track and over 2000m. Looks a great bet.
(6) Concello $23/$5.50: 3YO filly out of Trapeze Artist who has shown good ability. Up in distance now looks good and trainer/jockey combo must be respected. Roughie chance.

Race 5: Newhaven Park Country Championship Final 1400m - 2:45pm (AEDT)
(1) Bandis Boy $2.60: 4YO gelding who is in super form this prep. Last start timed his run to perfection to pick the leader up on the line to win and his late sectionals have been classy. Gets up to 1400m now and looks suited after that LS run. This looks slightly easier on paper and he gets in well at the weights. Looks to map nicely for a similar run and should go close. The one to beat here.
(8) Rainbow Connection $19/$5.00: Bullish on this fella last start, but he was flat. Runs prior to that were classy and deserves another crack at big odds. B.SHINN in the saddle boosts confidence and draws a nice gate. Knockout hope and one for the exotics.

Race 8: The Star Doncaster Mile 1600m 4:35pm (AEDT)
(12) Lady Laguna $10/$3.30: 4YO mare who has been an absolute superstar this prep. Narrowly missed out on back to back G1 victories last start behind VEIGHT. Gets out to the mile now and with that extra 100m she would’ve won LS. She gets in extremely well at the weights here as a 115 rater where she only needs to carry 51kg. Looks to be building up to the mile, so looks suited here, especially of that LS run. She must be respected off all her runs this prep. She is proven on the wet which builds confidence at a price.
(19) Celestial Legend $8/$2.80: Looking for the hatrick here and both previous wins have been of good class. Gets in with only 49kg on his back and is right up to these here. Likes the weather effected tracks an will be storming home late. One for the exotics.
