Errol Spence Jr. vs Tim Tszyu
Errol Spence Jr comes into this weekend’s fight as the favourite despite having not fought since he was stopped by Terence Crawford back in 2023. That is the only fight he has lost in his professional career, but it was enough for him to spend three years out of the ring.
His opponent, Tim Tszyu, knows what a brutal championship beatdown is like. He was destroyed twice by current champion Sebastian Fundora and was stopped by Bakhram Murtazaliev during a brutal 1-3 losing streak. However, he has got back to winning ways since with back-to-back one-sided beatdowns of Anthony Velasquez and Denis Nurja.
The elephant in the room for Tszyu is that every time he has stepped up to the elite level, he has lost. Arguably his best win comes over Brian Mendoza, who since being beaten by Tszyu is 1-2. The Aussie also has never won in America (0-3).
While this fight takes place on his home turf, he is simply not at the level of Spence Jr. The American built his name at welterweight (147lb), where he unified three of the four major belts. He steps up 13 pounds (5.8kg) to meet Tszyu at middleweight. He is a high-volume fighter with one of the most beautiful jabs you’ll ever see. He mixes that in with nasty body work and has a champion gas tank.
My only question mark and hesitancy in this fight is if Spence Jr has lost a few steps due to his long layoff and niggling injuries, mainly his eye. The 36-year-old suffered a detached retina in 2021 and had cataract surgery in January 2024, later claiming the cataract was “covering” his eye and contributed to the Crawford loss, where he was dropped three times.
Tszyu’s key to victory is hurting him early. While his pressure game is tailor-made to cause Spence Jr headaches if he comes in underdone, it still relies on him being well below his best. If we assume Spence Jr is close to 100 per cent, I have him as a $1.20 favourite. So even with the question marks, the $1.80 on offer is just too good to refuse.

Stephen Fulton Jr vs. Liam Wilson
Stephen Fulton Jr gave up his WBC featherweight championship shortly after moving up in weight. In his first fight up at lightweight, he lost a unanimous decision to WBC junior-lightweight champ O'Shaquie Foster in December 2025. That was only the second loss of his career, with the other coming to 33-0 phenom Naoya Inoue.
He takes on Liam Wilson this weekend, and it is a huge trap fight for the Aussie. Wilson has gone to the mountaintop twice before and been defeated both times. He was controversially defeated by Emanuel Navarrete, and later stopped by Oscar Valdez in world title challenges.
Is it third time’s the charm? Sadly, I think not. Since losing his last title fight, Wilson is 5-0, but all have come on the Aussie regional scene. Fulton Jr is a nightmare stylistically for him. He is better in the pocket, controls the centre well and throws in combinations, often starting with the body before landing up top. I am a big Wilson fan, but I don't see this ending well for him.
