There is plenty of midweek thoroughbred racing around the country on Wednesday with Bendigo hosting the Victorian meeting and Randwick-Kensington being the venue for New South Wales, while there's also some value on offer at Pinjarra Park in WA. Here are our best bets for Wednesday!

Randwick-Kensington Racing Tips: Wednesday, May 13th
Race 4: Kia Southern Region Dealer Of The Year Handicap 1800m – 2:00pm (AEST)
(1) Oso Spirited was a winner first up over 1600m before a pair of second placings behind Mornington Pier and Cap Saint Martin. The latter was over 1900m and it was a great effort in defeat. The four-year-old mare drops back from a Benchmark 78 to a 64, which is significant. She will carry 59kg after the claim from Zac Wadick who has ridden two winners from the last nine rides. She should be leading and give a bold sight in front.
(4) The Big Blue loves finishing on the podium with 10 career starts producing eight top three finishes. He has only won once in that time, which was two starts ago. He was fourth in a Benchmark 72 over course and distance when beaten 4.12 lengths. That effort is good enough to have each-way claims here.
(9) Wounder is working nicely for Chris Waller and the step up from 1550m to 1800m is very suitable for a forward showing. She was doing her best work late, cutting the beaten margin down to just 1.24 lengths after settling towards the back of the field of nine runners. She may be ridden more positively early from the inside gate.
(1) Oso Spirited WIN

Bendigo Racing Tips: Wednesday, May 13th
Race 5: Evergreen Turf BM66 Handicap 1600m – 2:45pm (AEST)
(6) Pearl King is a former WA galloper, still owned by Bob Peters, and the four-year-old gelding finished second at his Victorian debut at Pakenham over 1400m. He finished strongly in the small field on a Heavy 8 surface. His only career win to date came when second up from a spell and there should be some upside to this horse. Looks an each-way prospect.
(2) She’s Pretty Rich drops in grade from recent efforts. She ran fifth in the Group 3 Vamos Stakes (1400m) won by impressive Tasmanian local Sanniya three starts ago. She then ran midfield in a Benchmark 84 and 74 Handicap respectively. Back to a Benchmark 66 for this contest, she will have a 2kg claim with Emily Pozman in the saddle.
(1) Couldthisbetheone has won two of his past three starts and the 61.5kg shouldn’t bother him too much after winning with 61kg last start. Much like She’s Pretty Rich, they are both drawn well to use their early speed to race at the front of the field.
(6) Pearl King E/W
$9.50/$2.80 (1U/1U)
Pinjarra Park Racing Tips: Wednesday, May 13th
Race 5: Hygain Edge Maiden 1500m – 2:52pm (4:52pm AEST)
(6) Arizona Sky is crying out to break his maiden after three minor placings to begin his career. Willie Pike jumps aboard the Grant and Alana Williams-trained son of Flying Artie. His best work should be late in the race and with a bit of Pike magic, he should prove hard to beat in this line up.
(7) Universal Talk hasn’t been far away, finishing within a length of the winner two starts back when third over 1200m. He then finished fourth, beaten two lengths over 1300m. The step up to 1500m will be an interesting test here after wilting late at his previous start.
(1) Lord Momo has been placed in both career runs, enters this race second-up from a spell, and has solid each-way claims to break his maiden.
(6) Arizona Sky WIN
