Warriors vs Titans Prediction & Tips: 2026 NRL Round 7

The new Tigers

The Tigers of old would’ve struggled in their home match against the Knights last week. The fact that they lead 28-4 at HT is everything you need to know about how dominant they were; they set the standard and executed strongly. The result was not surprising considering they had 57% possession, completed at 76%, averaged 9.8m per carry, had 735 PCM’s, and 10 line breaks. It was as dominant as you can be from an attacking sense, but it was underpinned by strong defence also. They missed just 29 tackles and allowed only 4 line breaks. They are an exciting team to watch and face another tough test this week.

Unlucky but spirited

Missing a host of key players, the Broncos were always going to struggle against the Cowboys. Things were made worse during the match as they lost players to injury. Still spirited, they were competitive in their 35-31 home loss. They were disciplined with the ball; having just 46% they completed at 86% and averaged 10m per carry. Unable to match the power of their opponents, their defensive line was continually pressured and eventually missed 33 tackles and allowed 8 line breaks. Attitude is everything this team and they can take plenty of positives away from that performance.

Stats that matter

- The Tigers have an edge over the Broncos on both sides of the ball in 2026. They score 31ppg in attack and allow just 18ppg defensively. The Broncos have only managed 22ppg in attack and concede 23ppg.

- The Broncos have not only won the past 3 games against the Tigers but the past 3 games against them at this venue. They have a tremendous 89% record here compared to the Tigers 40%.

- Games between these two teams have seen blowout results. In their past 5 games, the average margin of victory is 22.4 points, with 4 games decided by 18 points or more. These games have been high scoring too. The average total points from the same number of games is 57.6 points.

The Tigers are the real deal

Listed as favourites, the Tigers are in a great position to win this contest and receive a huge boost with the return of Luai. May also returns on the edge, strengthening the defensive resolve in this area. On the other side, the Broncos are battling a horrific injury toll and lose Carrigan through suspension. The visitors are still a capable team, but this game is right for the Tigers to set the standard. Many will detract from their performance last week by questioning the strength of their opponents. The execution they had answers those questions. Finding value is challenging though so it is best to keep it simple. The Tigers attacking structure this season has overshadowed their strength defensively. With the Broncos leaking points in this area, the Tigers appear capable to win this contest by a margin which covers the line offered.

Leg 1 = Total points over 51.5 – see above for justification.

Leg 2 = May to score – he has one try from just 2 matches against the Broncos and as he returns from injury, May will want to make a loud statement. He is a big game player and will want the ball in positive attacking positions on the field.

Leg 3 = Turuva to score – the return of May allows Turuva to shift back to the wing. He has scored in his past two matches against the Broncos and will be keen to build on his 3-try performance on Sunday.

Scooby's strength is assessing the overall team - what they offer across the field in a match and how the ethos of a club contributes to their success. Momentum also has a major impact on sports, and Scooby likes to explore this, while underpinning his judgement against a solid basis of statistical analysis. When combined with the aforementioned points, it combines for a holistic approach towards betting on rugby league.

Other sports he enjoys include Cricket, Horse Racing and NFL. There is a reason why Scooby ‘clicked’ with BYB from Day 1 - he loves his sport as much as we do.
