AFL Daily Fantasy Lineup Tips: Round 4 Saturday
AFL Fantasy Round 4 Saturday: Where to Attack?
Power stacks that attack the Tigers across all areas of the ground is the safe, and obvious, play on this slate. Over the last 10 rounds, the Tigers are the league worst in conceding fantasy points to opposition key forwards, inside midfielders and general defenders. They also have a rookie ruckman for this game in Samson Ryan after their makeshift ruck combination combined for just 9 hitouts last week against Freo’s 57 which is a staggering discrepancy.
By contrast, the Power don’t have too many holes, sitting close to league average for points conceded in most positions.
The second game looks just as one-sided with Sydney warm favourites against West Coast. The Swans are a tough team to score against, particularly in the wings and outside defenders where they are the league’s best.
The Eagles don’t give up a lot to opposition general defenders, but have been particularly leaky in the ruck, inside midfield and general forwards.

AFL Fantasy Round 4 Saturday: Our Value Fantasy Picks
Steely Green ($6,000) isn’t a bad minimum-priced option for some salary relief. Has a 66 and a 60 in the first three weeks which is a great return at this price point. It probably requires him kicking a couple of goals, but he’s certainly capable of that.
Jack Whitlock ($7,600) was great last week as a high marking forward and backup ruck option for the Power. Whitlock kicked 3 goals in his 66 points, which would be a good return at this price. Should get plenty of chances. With the rucks generally struggling or job-sharing this season, I don’t mind the strategy of paying down in that spot, and Whitlock gives you that option.
Jack Lukosius ($9,930) is as unreliable as he is brilliant but he’s certainly in play on this slate where he should get plenty of opportunity up forward. Lukosius started the season with a 101 against Essendon but slipped back a little last week. If he can hit the scoreboard again, he’s going to be able to reach value for us again.
AFL Fantasy Round 4 Saturday: Our Mid-Priced Fantasy Picks
Mitch Georgiades ($11,390) is hard to ignore on this slate with a juicy matchup against a weak Tigers defence. Georgiades is one of the rising stars of the competition and looks unstoppable at times. With a 95 and 85 over the past fortnight, Georgiades could easily top the ton if he kicks a big bag.
Kane Farrell ($12,790) has been really good recently with scores of 109 and 96 the last two weeks as he enjoys the bump with Connor Rozee missing in defence. It’s a great matchup for the Power against the Tigers so Farrell looks value once again. Miles Bergman ($11,760) is back this week which offers an alternative at around the same price point. Bergman will likely mix some midfield time with some time in the backline, and is a nice price after a slow start to the season.
Jayden Short ($13,160) has had a sensational start to the year with a 113 average and a high of 132, so it seems a steal to get him for around $13k. Port do give up above average points to opposition defenders, and, as is typically the way for Richmond games, the ball is likely to be at his end of the ground more often than not.
AFL Fantasy Round 4 Saturday: Our Premium Fantasy Picks
Brodie Grundy ($16,940) is the proven elite ruckman of this slate but you will have to pay up for him. There aren’t a heap of great premiums on this slate so you should be able to find the budget to play him if you choose. Poor Matt Flynn struggles against the best ruckmen in the league, and gave up a massive 152 fantasy points to Tristan Xerri two weeks ago. It’s quite feasible that Grundy could match that sort of number here, but he has yet to find that sort of form in 2026 so far.
Zak Butters ($17,100) is expensive but he’s been in scintillating form and could go massive here against the hapless Tigers who haven’t got anyone who can go with him. Butters racked up 144 fantasy points against the Bombers, but last week could only get to 86 against West Coast despite 30 touches. He’ll want to be getting a few more tackles and marks to bump his score here and land a big ton at that premium price.
