Royal Randwick Racing Tips: Tuesday, November 4th 2025
Race 1: Midway BM72 1800m - 11:45am (AEDT)
(2) Claim The Crown: 7YO who had been racing well prior to last start. Rock hard fit and gets a 2kg claim. Drawn well and is $15 into $8. Each way.
(4) Natoya: 4YO Mare who is an honest type and has been racing well. Won very impressively last start over 1600m at Newcastle winning by 2.3L. Loves the soft track and will be the one to beat here.
TIP: NO BET
Race 2: Tab Highway Hcp Class 3 1000m - 12:25pm (AEDT)
(1) Petticoat: Terrific winner first up over this track/trip and then only narrowly beaten last start in a BM78 at Eagle Farm. Back to Sydney now and looks to be the major player. $1.90 too short to be backing in a highway though.
(9) Mic Drop: 4YO Mare who is unbeaten over this distance and gets pole position today. Looking for the hatrick and continues to show grit. Will be in this for a long way. Value.
TIP: NO BET
Race 3: Alinta Energy BM84 1200m - 1:05pm (AEDT)
(1) Junqueria: This girl never really got a proper crack at them first up over 1200m when badly held up at a crucial stage and was ultimately eased down late. She’s since been back to the trials where she cruised through the line looking full of running. Strips much fitter now and gets in well with the 3kg claim, making her a genuine chance here at attractive odds. Last campaign she ran a blinder over this trip in Group 3 company, charging home to finish third. Meets Midnight Opal again here but is 1.5kg better off at the weights — expect her to be flying home late.
(4) Midnight Opal: 5YO gelding who was sound first up and has since trialled nicely. Never placed at this track though. 2kg claim and strips fitter.
(5) Money Team: The favourite of the race who won nicely last start after a brave third first up. Has a lovely record over this trip and goes well third up. One to watch.
(1) Junqueira WIN
$7.00 (1 Unit)
Race 4: Quayclean BM64 1300m - 1:40pm (AEDT)
(10) Lightning GLory: 4YO gelding who debuted last start and missed the kick. Managed to fly home and won by nearly 4L. Hard to look past off that first up career run.
(12) Equerry: $14 into $8.50 already in the market. Draws a nice alley and Nash steers for Waller. Plenty of admirers. Each way.
TIP: NO BET
Race 5: Big Dance 1600m - 2:20pm (AEDT)
(1) Gringotts: 6YO gelding who will likely start favourite and has a pretty impressive CV with 10 wins from 23 career starts and another 9 placings. Second up run was terrific behind HEADLEY GRANGE and will only be improving third up. Drawn well and enjoys the mile. Has to lug 62kg being the only concern.
(2) Headley Grange: 5YO Gelding who just continues to win and shows grit. Won 11 from 22 career starts and is looking for 4 in a row. Up in weight and gets a real sticky gate. If he can ping the lids and get to the front he will be a genuine contender, but will need some luck in the early stages. Jockey is 6 from 7. Goes well.
(3) Tavi Time: This fella has been solid in both runs back this prep. First up, he was held up for much of the straight but once clear, he charged through the line impressively, posting the quickest 400–200m split of the race while carrying 1.5kg more than the winner Headley Grange. Second up, he got back again over 1400m and produced another sharp finish, making good ground late behind Headley Grange and Gringotts — both of whom he meets again here. The rise to 1600m third up looks ideal, as he boasts a strong record at the mile with a 50% strike rate. Draws a reasonable gate and meets key rivals much better at the weights. At the current quote, he looks the one to be with — expect him to be storming home late.
(3) Tavi Time E/W
$8.00/$2.40 (1U/3U)
Race 6: Barn Dance 1300m - 3:30pm (AEDT)
(1) Gallant Star: Resumed in the Kosciuszko and finished second behind Clear Thinking. Has to be the one to beat off that run. Proven second up and on the soft track. Gets in nicely with the 3kg claim and looks to be the winner on paper.
(19) Associate: Roughie of the field who was sound when resuming and then flat over 1400m last start. Has a lovely third up record and has each way claims. Blow out hope.
(1) Gallant Star WIN
$3.40 (2 Units)
Race 7: Little Dance 1600m - 4:10pm (AEDT)
(1) Osipenko: Highly rated 6YO Gelding who has been sound in his first and second up runs against much tougher company. Last start was far from disgraced when settling rearward and having to do too much. The wet track suits and he will be hard fit. This is his easiest affair in sometime. Ready to win.
(16) Tavros: 5YO gelding who has been racing well and is a very honest type. Heads to the city now which will only be more testing. Capable of a bold run and will have plenty of admirers.
(1) Osipenko WIN
$5.00 (1 Unit)
Race 8: United Resource Management Choisir BM100 1100m - 4:50pm (AEDT)
(1) Dragonstone: Roughie of the field who hasn’t returned the way we know. If she can get back to how she was racing last campaign he has to be in the conversation. The soft track will suit and he will be rock hard fit for this fourth up run. Rates well, draws well and with the 2kg claim engaged he has to be considered. Blow out hope.
(5) Accredited: Resuming 6YO gelding who was terrific last prep and has trialled nicely leading into this. Has a lovely fresh record and the early market suggests he will be going close.
(8) Zealously: Drifting favourite who won over the 1000m sprint first up in this company and then was sound in defeat behind Rey Magnerio and GeeGees Mistruth. Third up now where he is unbeaten and will likely be bouncing back.
TIP: NO BET
Race 9: The Agency Real Estate BM88 1500m - 5:30pm (AEDT)
(6) Well Timed: 5YO Who has been very good in three of his four runs this time in and looks primed now for 1500m. Draws well and Nash steers. On top.
(11) Formal Display: 5YO Gelding who has been sound minus his run on the heavy track. Has been plonked in the early market which will give us the opinion he is ready to fire now. Drawn to get a handy run and will be hard fit.
TIP: NO BET
Race 10: Toyota Forklifts BM84 1000m - 6:05pm (AEDT)
(2) Wondereach: 6YO Gelding who string together three wins in a row last campaign. Resumed this time out in a BM100 and was only 4.5L off the winner. Back in grade now and likely to improve second up. Pet trip and has a very good record on the soft track. Improver.
(6) Power Of The Brave: The map horse of the field who looks to get a lovely run in transit. Gets in light with the 3kg claim and id expect him to be bouncing back. Won well first up.
(7) Sunrise: 4YO Mare who is the best rated horse in the race and gets in well at the weights. Disappointing first up, but fitness was probably lacking. Drawn well and goes well on the soft. Unbeaten over this trip and will be improving second up. On top.
(7) Sunrise WIN
$5.00 (1 Unit)
