The weather is Fine and the track is rated a Good 4. We bring you our best bets for the day below!

Dabble Quaddies

Flemington Racing Tips: Saturday, November 1st 2025

Race 1: Channel 9 Carbine Club Stakes Group 3 1600m - 12:20pm (AEDT)

(1) Vinrock has drawn well in barrier 2 which should ensure he isn’t trapped wide like he was at The Valley two starts back (7th). He can be slow away which is a slight concern but he is at his favourite track again after winning 2 from 2 here previously. He should get a gun run from Mark Zahra in around 4th position in the run before he hooks out.

(4) Call Da Vinci ran on well for 2nd on Caulfield Cup Day over 1400m and the extra 200m looks as though it will suit. Races well with Jake Lloyd on top.

(2) West Of Swindon has placed at Flemington previously and has won when Ben Melham has been on top. He might lead in this but the Flemington straight is hard to stick on and lead all of the way for pilots.

(5 & 9) Regal Reward and Panova have had specking the last 24 hours.

TIP: No Bet

Race 2: THE TAB Vanity Group 3 1400m - 1pm  (AEDT)

(4) Sheza Alibi has drawn well in barrier 3 and should settle behind the leader or in the “one-one”. She has placed both starts on Dry ground which she likely gets but would enjoy rain too if it rains on the day. She was no match for Tentyris on Caulfield Cup Day but in saying that was only beaten 1.9L when 2nd. She is second up and she has won when second up previously.

(1) Stardom went forward, led and won at The Valley last start and may try to lead again. She has won in this grade before and she is very fit.

(5) Live ran on well to be 2nd behind Napoleonic and may appreciate a longer straight t Flemington.

(4) Sheza Alibi WIN

$2.60 (2 units)

Race 3: G.H. Mumm Rising Fast Stakes Group 3 1200m - 1:40pm (AEDT)

(5) Caballus for Bjorn Baker and Tom Berry gets the nod in what is a tough race to dissect. He goes better on Soft tracks but ran on well behind Rothfire last start at Randwick when 5th but only beaten 1.1L. Targeted for this race and trialled up well before his latest effort.

(4) Star Patrol was scratched on Caulfield Cup Day and he goes better here. He was just fair in a recent jumpout and that is why you will get Each-Way odds in this.

(2) Bosustow has been racing up North in Queensland but has been set for this. Has placed in both starts at this track including a 2nd here on Melbourne Cup Day.

(5) Caballus WIN

$4.00 (1 unit)

Race 4: HKJC Wakeful Stakes Group 2 2000m - 2:20pm (AEDT)

(1) Getta Good Feeling is short in the market but should be winning for the Danny O’Brien stable. She won the Edward Manifold at good odds two starts back before placing (3rd) in the Group 1 Caulfield Guineas last start. She has won at Flemington before and she looks as though the 2000m will suit. May well be the most popular horse in the all up betting market at the meeting.

(4) Prestige Snizel has had every career start on a Good track which she gets again and she is a good chance at placing again like she did last week at The Valley behind Salty Pearl over the mile. Jamie Mott stays on.

(3) Freedom Flame won by a nose last start at Morphetville and gets the services of Jamie Melham for this. Big step up in class but is consistent.

(1) Getta Good Feeling WIN

$1.70 (4 units)

Race 5: The ABC Bullion Damien Oliver Group 2 1400m - 3pm (AEDT)

(2) Payline ran on well last start at Caulfield for 4th and having his second look at Flemington should suit. He will get back in the field but with Craig Williams on he is sure to be in the finish. He is better on Soft tracks, however has run a few good races on Dry ground which he gets again. He is very fit and will appreciate a fast pace.

(9) Coeur Volante has drawn inside so shouldn’t be running any extra metreage. He goes well when 2nd up and likes this distance. Huge odds at $71.00.

(13) King Zephyr loves genuine Dry ground and is a deserving favourite. He won at Hillside two starts back when we were on him and was 3rd last start at Caulfield after running on well. Has won at Flemington before.

(2) Payline Each-Way

$12/$3.60 (0.50 units)

Race 6: Coolmore Stud Stakes GROUP 1 1200m - 3:40pm (AEDT)

(1) Beiwacht for Waller and Adam Hyreronimus has been freshened for this after leading all of the way in the Group 2 Run To Rose at Rosehill on September 13. That was on a Good surface which he again gets and he has already won a Group 1. Barrier 10 looks ideal as more often than not winners up the straight have come down the outside the last two years.

(3) Tentyris was huge on Caulfield Cup day when he had no right winning the Gothic Stakes when he was caught in between runners. All of his form is on Good tracks and he is the likely favourite. Zahra stays on and he has saluted at Flemington previously. He should get a strong tempo which will suit.

(10) Beadman had a jumpout leading into this and ran well. Hasn’t won on Dry ground yet for Peter Snowden but this seems to be his favourite distance at the moment. Each-Way.

Daily Dabble: Saturday Super Dabble is Either Beiwacht or Tentyris to Win Race 6 at Flemington at $2.50. Max Bet $25 at Dabble.

(1) Beiwacht WIN

$4.20 (2 units)

Race 7: Howden Victoria Derby GROUP 1 2500m - 4:20pm (AEDT)

(1) Observer was a grand performer in the Group 2 Vase at The Valley last week and he was eased down over the final 100m after leading all of the way over 2040m. The extra distance looks suitable and he will go forward again with Zahra on top from barrier 4. It was a slowly run race last week so I am expecting one of his rivals to put some pace into it so he doesn’t get his own way in front. The Cairon Maher trained colt has done all of his racing on Good tracks which he gets again.

(11) Engine of War was a well beaten favourite last start when settling handy to the speed and the stable have decided to settle him further back in the Derby with blinkers on. He did run 2nd at Flemington two starts back (beaten a nose) so he does go well here.

(6) Providence ran on very well behind Observer last week without ever looking like winning. The extra distance looks ideal and Flemington gives him more time to round up the leaders. Still a maiden but Williams is on.

(5) Options was unlucky last start when 5th at The Valley and will be a chance if it rains on the day.

(1) Observer WIN

$2.20 (3 units)

Race 8: TAB Empire Rose GROUP 1 1600m - 5pm (AEDT)

(6) Leica Lucy found the line well in the Group 1 Toorak last start and Flemington will suit the mare with her having her second look at the surface. She has won 2 from 3 over the mile and probably wants the 2000m soon but with Jenni going forward and Fangirl going back she might just get a nice run in the middle of them and prove too strong. She had a trial at Flemington last week to stretch the legs out in readiness for this.

(1) Pride of Jenni has only won twice at Flemington and that may be due to her racing style where she tries to lead all of the way. It's a long straight to keep going and that's my concern here. Wasn’t disgraced when 7th in the King Charles last start and there doesn’t look to be heaps of speed in this.

(2) Fangirl will get back and will more more than 10L off the leaders at the halfway mark which is a concern in a quality field. The Waller team will have their plans and they will want a fast run race. Was 6th in the King Charles when overtaking Jenni in the last 50m.

(6) Leica Lucy Each-Way

$6.00/$1.95 (1 unit)

Race 9: Kirin Ichiban Stakes Group 3 1100m - 5:40pm (AEDT)

(2) Arabian Summer was unlucky last start when 4th at Caulfield in the Caulfield Sprint and she should settle midfield here before letting go over the final 300m. Shinn goes on top for the first time and she has already proven herself in this class previously. Has won both jumpouts and Flemington and she did Place there at her only run there. Loves the 1100m and the McKevoy camp are in form.

(6) Generosity comes over from Sydney after running on well but not placing when 7th at Randwick. She was well back on that occasion but had no luck with barrier 12. In saying that barrier 1 here up the straight is usually a negative.

(14) Flying For Fun is lightly raced and likes Dry ground. She will get back and will be running on and barrier 13 might be an advantage.

(2) Arabian Summer Each-Way

$4.60/$1.80 (1U/2U)
