Randwick-Kensington Racing Tips: Wednesday, May 14th 2025
Race 4: Ole Kirk @ Vinery Stud BM72– 1250m – 1:25pm (AEST)
(2) Beour Bay $3.80: 6YO mare who has been sound in her last two runs. Rock hard fit and is unbeaten over 1250m. Loves the wet track, draws well and rates highly for this. Dual accepter for this and race 5, but expecting her to run here. Tyler Schiller to steer. On top.
(4) Iconic Treasure $7.00/$2.20: 5YO Gelding who was formerly with the Pride stable. Hasn’t been the worst of late and deserves another chance. Fit and must be considered for the exotics.
(8) Bend The Knee $5.50: 6YO Gelding who was very impressive on the wet last start winning by 3.3L. Stays on the wet track and gets in light with a 2kg claim. Must be respected.
(2) Beour Bay WIN
$3.80 (2 Units)
Race 7: Hyland Race Colours BM64 - 1800m – 3:10pm (AEST)
*SCRATCHED* (3) Highborn Harry $11.00/$2.90: 4YO Gelding who had been terrific first and second up with some nice late sectionals. Last start was just too tough. Drops back in grade now and will be hard fit fourth up. Goes well on the wet and has figured in the placings twice over 1800m. Top booking of Collett. Goes well.
(7) Swelter $3.00: 3YO filly who has been mixing form, but her best has been good. Significantly drops in class and will be around the mark. Prefer to see her on the dry track as her wet form is poor. Consider.
(9) Rotagilla $6.00: 3YO gelding who wasn’t all that far away last start and looks to be improving. Sole win comes off the soft track. Draws well and Tim Clark for Waller. Watch the market. Value
Race 9: Vinnie Three-Time Champion Sire BM78 - 1400m – 4:20pm (AEST)
(4) Furious $7.00/$2.50: 5YO Gelding who was sound in returning finishing only 1.5L off the winner at Randwick. Will only be improving off that effort and the rise to 1400m should suit. Nash remains in the saddle and he will have plenty of admirers. Goes well at the price.
(10) Bright Red $7.00/$2.50: Resuming 4YO Mare who was rather consistent last campaign and has trialled twice leading in to this first up run with her most recent trial being pretty handy. Goes well on the weather affected track and is a winner here previously. Sticky gate, but with a little luck she will be right in this. Value.
(14) Sydney Bowler $5.00/$2.05: 4YO Gelding who hasn’t been up to his best this campaign, but his most recent run he gave a good account late. Gets a nice draw today and gets J-Mac into the saddle. Proven wet tracker and he will be rock hard fit. Happy to be on at the price. Ready to win now.
(14) Sydney Bowler E/W
$5.00/$2.05 (1U/3U)
