Race 2: Hellbent @ Yarraman park maiden plate 1300M
This maiden is filled with plenty of horses who haven’t won from quite a few starts, very hard to find a winner when none of them have won with that many starts.
The Englishman (5) $2.00: One of two in the field who have shown some ability and had come second twice from four starts. Gets first up here in some ordinary company and will be all the better for experience. Sam Clipperton will steer who is capable of getting him home at the short price.
LIPSCANI (4) $3.40: Third up and hasn’t missed the trifecta from the two starts. Fitter now and comes out of a nice stable with Zac Lloyd to ride who is in super form. Exacta bet for sure!
Race 4: Hunter valley Premium Meats BM 64 1850M
MILAMOO (4) $11/$3.40: Value play on Milamoo here. Won 2 of her last 3 and now gets a drop in grade. Apprentice to claim so we will be lighter than last start too which will assist. The only query is the distance, will it be too far? Happy to take an each way price and should be flashing home late to win, if not fill the minors.
State of America (5) $4.40: Early money has come for this one and also sees a class drop. Draws well and is proven on the soft deck. Watch the market.

Markwell Dreamer (1) $6.50/$2.25: The bridesmaid… He has come second his last 5 starts. He gets a significant class drop here today and will give sight in the short sprint. Top jockey gets to steer and is proven over the distance and on the soft deck. Looks over the odds
Flora (3) $19/$5: Proven over this distance and doesn’t have a bad resume. Three starts ago won this same race. Worth some thought at the price?
