Race 3 - Thomas Farms BM86
(3) Heka Express led Last start in Port Lincoln and only just got run down in the last 100-50m. Drops to 1000m today.
Back in November last year, he ran this same race and punched the breeze up until the corner and ran well to the line. Finished 5th but only a length off the winner. If we see a run similar to that and ping the lids, I think we will see him right in the finish. Third up from a let up and should be rock hard fit now.
Nice each-way play.

Race 8: The Junction Handicap 1400m
(1) Alsvior gets a big class drop today after finishing in the trifecta three of the last four starts.
The significant class drop means we will be carrying the top weight but receive a little bit of relief with Opperman taking the ride.
Hoping the parks track isn't too much of a leader's bias as we all know it can be renowned for it.
However, Alsvior, If jumps well and gets a nice sit midfield or just off the pace I think 1400m suits. Hopefully on the corner can peel out and give the rest something to catch. Currently getting a nice each-way price which is why this horse appeals.
