Our esports tipster Michael Lee is back with more betting previews and predictions for three Counter-Strike: Global Offensive matches in CCT North Europe Series #1. Today, he takes a look at BLUEJAYS vs Copenhagen Flames, Tricked Esports vs 9INE, and sC e-Sports vs HAVU, who will meet on Tuesday in the first round of the tournament.
Esports Betting Tips: Tuesday 11th October
BLUEJAYS vs Copenhagen Flames - CCT North Europe Series #1
BLUEJAYS and Copenhagen Flames will kick off the first round of CCT North Europe Series #1 as the two sides meet for the first time since December 2021, when BLUEJAYS won 2-1. That result isn't that important, though, since both squads have made roster changes this year.
Still, BLUEJAYS are expected to win again, priced at just 1.44, while Copenhagen Flames are 2.62 underdogs. That is mainly due to Copenhagen Flames losing key players over the last few months, including in-game leader Rasmus "HooXi" Nielsen, who left for G2 Esports in August.
Regardless, this is still a quality team, and I wouldn't underestimate them, despite Copenhagen Flames' recent slump. They're 3-7 since the second round of RMR Open qualifiers #1, but the Danes are also on a three-game winning streak, having beaten Brugge, Young Ninjas, and SKADE X.
BLUEJAYS are 8-2 with a 1-2 record across the last three, including losses against MASONIC and SINNERS, and a 2-0 victory against Anonymo Esports, who they beat at the end of September. This is important to know – BLUEJAYS haven't played single in nearly two weeks, while Copenhagen Flames played their last fixture a week ago.
Since BLUEJAYS don't field a much stronger roster and are a bit rusty, I would prefer to be on the side of Copenhagen Flames, who are a bit underrated at the offered odds.

Tricked Esports vs 9INE - CCT North Europe Series #1
9INE are in terrible form ahead of this match, having won just two of their last seven games, and even those victories came against LODIS and OG Academy. And yet, they're priced as 1.57 favourites, so the only reasonable explanation is that Tricked are in even worse form.
That is somewhat true, but not entirely. Tricked are on a ruin of four wins and three losses (4-3), albeit over those seven games, they had played fairly weak opponents, including Flames Academy, SC, Atlantic, St0ny, Prosapia, and MASONIC. Is that enough to say that Tricked haven't shown much? Perhaps, but realistically, it's not like 9INE's recent opponents were that much stronger.
Based on what I've seen from 9INE and Tricked, I wouldn't say that one team is much stronger than the other. 9INE have better players, but they haven't produced much better results, leading me to believe that this match will be much closer thane expected. I'll take over 2.5 maps at 1.88 from PickleBet.

sC e-Sports vs HAVU - CCT North Europe Series #1
The esports betting odds on this match show sC e-Sports as 2.10 underdogs and hAVU as 1.66 favourites, which looks about right. However, I would price HAVU even lower.
The Estonian squad have achieved some success lately as they enter this match with a 3-3 record and a better map win rate on all but one map in the rotation. But regardless of what those figures suggest, HAVU are still much better.
They're 7-1 ahead of this match, and that includes victories against ENCE and Copenhagen Flames. HAVU also placed third at Pelaajat.com Nordic Masters: Fall 2022 at the end of September and won Pelaajat.com Series: Fall 2022 a week prior.
So not only are HAVU in much better form, but they also had to play against tougher opposition than sC e-Sports. I can imagine sC e-Sports winning a map since they have proven to be very resilient, but I wouldn't count on that happening. Take HAVU to win both maps with at least a three-round advantage.
