ESports Betting Tips: Thursday, September 24th
FATE vs Nordavind
ESEA MDL Season 25 Europe
Nordavind met with FATE three times in 2020 and picked up two series along with four maps, while FATE managed only one BO1 win and three maps. In their last clash, which took place at the Eden Arena Malta Vibes Cup 7, we saw Nordavind secure a well-deserved 2-1 victory.
In the said meeting, Nordavind took the series lead with 16-5 on Vertigo, lost the next map (Overpass) with 2-16, but still had enough gas in the tank to edge our FATE with 22-19 on Dust2. I must mention that FATE had to play with Georgi "SHiPZ" Grigorov who stood-in for Deyvid "h4rn" Benchev, however, I don't believe that was the contributing factor to FATE's loss.
As it was the case with most of the previous matches between FATE and Nordavind, we are likely in for another close affair. This match seems like a complete coin-toss, so the value should be with Nordavind to secure their third H2H win with FATE!
Evil Geniuses vs FURIA
ESL Pro League Season 12 North America
FURIA defeated Evil Geniuses just a couple of days ago with a convincing 16-8 on Nuke and 16-14 on Inferno to secure a clean sweep. On that day, FURIA's Henrique "HEN1" Teles was playing out of his mind, ending the series with 53 frags and 1.64 HLTV rating, while Vincent "Brehze" Cayonte emerged as the best performing player on EG with 36 frags and 1.02 HLTV rating.
As the final score would suggest the match was very one-sided which did not go down well with Evil Geniuses' players who were visibly upset after suffering such a humiliating loss. That makes me believe they will be better prepared for the rematch and hungry for a revenge win.
Apart from their fluke loss against FURIA, Evil Geniuses have been playing extremely well at ESL Pro League, whereas, FURIA recently lost to Chaos Esports Club and 100 Thieves, which only further suggests their 2-0 win over EG was nothing more than a fluke.
Unless FURIA improve from their showings against 100T and Chaos, Evil Geniuses should have an easy time walking away with a win. I would even go so far to say FURIA look set to suffer 0-2 loss. Bet on Evil Geniuses to destroy FURIA and reclaim the crown as the best NA team!

Mako vs Fenrir
LPL Pro League Season 6
Mako have lost five fixtures preceding their bout with Fenrir against the likes of VERTEX, AVANT, Chiefs, Grounds and Downfall. I would, however, not put too much emphasis on those losses since they Mako were bound to end up losing anyway. Mako did, however, manage to take down Paradox at the start of the month, which suggests they're not as bad as it may seem.
Both rosters are comprised of amateur players so there is not a lot to set them apart individual quality-wise, however, Mako are at least playing at a higher tier of CS:GO, whereas Fenrir do not. Additionally, Fenrir have no official matches to their name, which only goes to prove why Mako are billed as the favourites.
Mako have beaten amateur teams before, all with relative ease (2-0) and I would be quite shocked to see them walk away from this bout with anything else than a clean sweep. Bet on Mako to make easy work of Fenrir!
Orgless vs VERTEX
LPL Pro League Season 6
VERTEX have attended the ESEA MDL Season 35 Australia where they won five games out of eight against the likes of Mako, ex-Blessed, Lese, Aftermind and Bantz. Even though their results were not outstanding, VERTEX are still one of the Australian CS:GO teams that are fairly competitive when it comes to playing teams of a similar calibre, but when they face tougher opposition, VERTEX usually end up losing.
Nevertheless, VERTEX don't need to worry about their weakness ahead of this bout, since they are set to face a team that is significantly weaker than any other team they have faced in recent weeks. Similarly to Fenrir, Orgless are a team comprised of amateur players, who have no official record to their name and are bound to struggle against teams that have experience playing professional games.
Winning this match 2-0 is an expectation for VERTEX as anything else will be regarded as a massive disappointment. Bet on VERTEX to claim a clean sweep!
