Esports Betting Tips: Monday September 19th

September 19th 2022, 1:19pm, By: Michael Lee

Esports Betting Tips

Our esports tipster Michael Lee is back with his betting predictions for three Rainbow Six Siege games in the second round of R6 European League 2022 – Stage 3 on Monday, September 19. Today, he looks at Rogue vs TT9 Esports, Wolves Esports vs Team BDS, and Heroic vs Natus Vincere.

Esports Betting Tips: Monday, September 19th

Rogue vs TT9 Esports - European League 2022 - Stage 3

TT9, former Team Empire, lost their first match of the stage against MnM Gaming (5-7) and I can't say that TT9 played well. They won five rounds, which might look good, but it was MnM's game to lose, and they showed up.

I wouldn't say that TT9 are the weakest team in EUL – that tag belongs to Team Secret, but they come close to it. As Team Empire, they haven't won much, and I don't see them improving now that they've finally got signed by a new organisation.

Rogue surprisingly lost against Natus Vincere on day one, but I wouldn't overplay that loss. Rogue were by far the best team in Europe in the last stage, and I don't see any reason why they can't emerge as the EU's top squad this stage.

They did lose against Natus Vincere, but it's very common for top teams to start a new stage slow, mainly due to the fatigue of having to play in international events. On that note, Rogue won Six Berlin Major 2022 in August, which not only makes them the best EU team, but also the current best team in the world.

Whether Rogue will have enough time to rest and get ready for TT9 is a mystery, but I don't see them losing against a squad that hasn't come even close to achieving as much as Rogue this season. This should be a very one-sided affair, with Rogue winning with at least three rounds to spare.

Rogue -2.5 rounds

Wolves Esports vs Team BDS - European League 2022 - Stage 3

Europe has had only one Stage 3 playday, on Monday, 12, when we saw a couple of interesting results, namely Wolves taking down Outsiders (7-3). Perhaps it wasn't that surprising to see the Wolves win that match, but it was interesting that they won with four rounds to spare.

But I have to mention that Outsiders have recently made coaching changes, so they'll need a bit more time to readapt. On the other side, Wolves were the top European team last stage, so it's tough to take much from their victory on Monday.

Team BDS defeated Team Secret (7-4) on day one of EUL Stage 3, which was expected. Not so much because BDS are very strong, but because Secret look like the weakest team in the region, and until they prove me otherwise, I will continue to view them as the main wooden spoon candidates.

Esports betting sites have priced Wolves and BDS at the same odds, suggesting that this will be a close match, and I can't argue with that. I don't see either team outperforming the other, and from what I've seen from BDS and Wolves, this is anyone's game.

Heroic vs Natus Vincere - European League 2022 - Stage 3

Heroic got off to an exceptional start to R6 EUL Stage 3, beating G2 Esports 7-4. Beating G2 is impressive, but it is even more important that Heroic have historically struggled against G2, so that win means a lot and might indicate that Heroic will be much stronger this stage as many people expect.

On the other side, G2 Esports had a terrible start last stage, and then they bounced back, so maybe I shouldn't overreact to that win, especially since it was Heroic's first match with Marc "jume" Steinmann and Maxime "Meloo" Cahagnet. They played well in their debut, but will the newly-signed duo manage to keep it up remains to be seen.

Like Heroic, Natus Vincere secured a shock victory on day one when they defeated Rogue (8-6). The new pickups for Natus Vincere in Jake "Leadr" Fortunato and Edoardo "T3b" Treglia proved to be great additions to the roster. And seeing how they helped Natus Vincere beat the current best European team might suggest that Natus Vincere are not to be ignored.

Despite their success on day one, Natus Vincere are 2.50 underdogs to win this match, which, I believe, mainly has to do with their poor performance last stage. But while Natus Vincere impressed no one with their showings in Stage 2, they now look much more capable of competing for the top spots.

I would still consider heroic as slight favourites, but at 2.50, we have to side with Natus Vincere.

Natus Vincere to win
