1PIN vs Big Time Rush
ESL Premiership Autumn 2022
1PIN started their ESL Premiership Autumn 2022 campaign with a 14-16 defeat against Endpoint, which isn’t optimal. However, they forced the best team at the tournament to 30 rounds, which is fairly impressive for a team of this calibre.
Big Time Rush, on the other side, won their tournament opener against BLCKHVND with a 19-15 overtime win. It was an extremely close match which came down to little things, such as dexie’s individual performance – the Brit ended the match with a 1.68 K/D and was by far the best player on his team.
But despite Big Time Rush’s solid performance against BLCKHVND, they enter Monday’s match as 3.75 underdogs. That likely has to do with the fact that 1PIN nearly defeated Endpoint, yet I wouldn’t overreact to that showing.
This is a low-division tournament, and all games are played as BO1s, so it’s hard to favour one team so heavily over the other. Individually, 1PIN aren’t that much better than Big Time Rush and had they not forced Endpoint to 30 rounds; the betting odds would surely look much different.
This is a coin-flip match, so I’ll side with Big Time Rush. The core of the team already defeated 1PIN, while they were playing as Heave and Hell Esports, so 3.75 on Big Time Rush seems a bit too big.

Endpoint vs If I Speak
ESL Premiership Autumn 2022
Endpoint are by far the most established team at this tournament and the clear favourite to take the trophy. And yet they nearly lost against 1PIN in the first round, which only goes to show how volatile BO1 matches can be.
There’s also an argument that Endpoint doesn’t mind losing the event, but since there’s an ELP S17 Conference spot on the line, I wouldn’t expect them to completely give up. On the contrary, Endpoint should ramp up as the event goes on – they just need some time to warm up.
If I Speak qualified for ESL Premiership Autumn 2022 via the promotion series, where they finished 3rd/4th after losing the opening series against NeverBrokeAgain. Still, they showed up in the lower bracket, where they eliminated Ionic (2-0) and Lizards (2-0).
I wouldn’t call If I Speak a good team, but they have shown some good qualities in the promotion series and can be competitive. They’re still much weaker than Endpoint, but the latter have not been in great form lately and are more than capable of losing this match.
A lot of it will come down to which map the game will be played on, but I don’t mind taking a smaller position on If I Speak at 8.50.

1PIN vs ROYALS
ESL Premiership Autumn 2022
ROYALS won their first match of the tournament against If I Speak (16-8 Overpass) with a very strong performance on T-Side (7-2), proving themselves as serious contenders for a spot in the playoffs. But before we consider them a threat, ROYALS still need to show a bit more.
They qualified for ESL Premiership Autumn 2022 with a 7th/8th place finish in the Spring series, where they missed out on the playoffs with a 1-4 record, which is not great, but the ESL Premiership Spring 2022 was played in March, so those results mean very little.
ROYALS have since improved and shouldn’t be underestimated. 1PIN are 1.40 favourites to win this match, which again mostly has to do with their strong performance against Endpoint. But as noted, Endpoint are not in good form, and I believe that 1PIN’s 30-round match against the British organisation was more of a fluke than any indication of their quality.
ROYALS are good enough to win, or at the very least force a close series. Take the underdogs with a 3.5-round advantage.
