ESports Betting Tips: Monday, January 11th
Bilibili Gaming vs eStar Gaming
2021 LPL Spring
The second week of 2021 League of Legends Pro League (LPL) Spring will kick off with a clash between Bilibili Gaming and eStar Gaming in what is billed as a very favourable matchup for the former. Both teams have freshened up their rosters during the offseason, namely eStar who changed their entire lineup except for their support Liu "ShiauC"Chia-Hao.
Bilibili Gaming opted for a similar move and acquired mid laner Kim "Zeka" Geon-woo, ADC Kim "Aiming" Ha-ram, support Ling "Mark" Xu and top laner Yu "Biubiu" Lei-Xin. With those changes, Bilibili now come off as a much stronger team than last season and even though we can't know for sure what to expect from this squad, they definitely have the individual quality to shine.
The opening games of the season are often very unpredictable, however, I don't see how Bilibili can lose here. I would easily rank them as one of the top-10 teams in the league and unless they completely fall apart on Monday, this should be an easy 2-0 win for them. Bet on Bilibili to win 2-0.

TT Gaming vs Royal Never Give Up
2021 LPL Spring
TT Gaming (formerly Dominus) enter this match as massive underdogs, which seems about right, however, that does not necessarily mean they don't stand a chance to upset their next opponents. Royal Never Give Up are not nearly as strong as they used to be and while they still have some solid pieces on the roster, I am still a bit skeptical about their chances to claim a playoffs spot this split.
Much of RNG's success this split will rely on the performances of support Shi "Ming" Sen-Ming and top laner Li "Xiaohu" Yuan-Hao, but outside of them, there are not many players that will turn heads. With so many young players, RNG seem to have exited the "Uzi era" and dived headfirst into a development season, which might bear some fruit down the line, but I don't expect RNG to shine early on.
TT Gaming seem to be slightly underrated at these odds, and not because they're surprisingly strong, but rather because RNG aren't. TT Gaming to win one map is a good bet in my book. An outright bet on TT Gaming can also be considered as a longshot bet.

Nexus vs Winstrike
Vulkan Fight Series 2020
Nexus enter this match with two losses in their last five outings against Sinners and Apeks. On the bright side, they have managed to defeat MBAPPEEK, ex-ETHEREAL and NAVI Junior and are 4-1 in the Vulkan Fight Series 2020.
Across the last three months, Nexus managed to win only 48% of their matches, which concerns me a bit, especially considering some of their losses came against weaker sides such as Lyngby Vikings, SKADE, Lilmix and other of similar quality. We should give Nexus some praise for their resurgence this month, but I am still a bit skeptical about their consistency.
Winstrike, on the other side, enter this match on a six-game winning streak which includes wins against MBAPPEEK, 9INE, ex-ETHEREAL, BEZ ZP, SG.pro and a female team of Galaxy Racer. At the Vulkan Fight Series 2020, Winstrike played out five games and lost only against NAVI Junior and VP.Prodigy.
Winstrike have won 61% of their games across the last three months, which is significantly better than Nexus and should serve as a huge morale boost for this match. Winstrike are in better form and field better players, so anything less than a 2-0 sweep will be a huge disappointment for them. Bet on Winstrike to win with a clean sweep!
