Eagle Farm hosts a 10-race card with the Kingsford Smith Cup, Queensland Oaks and Queensland Derby as the Group 1 feature races on the card. The first race commences at 11:08am AEST and the last concludes at 4:28pm AEST. The rail is out 2m and conditions are set to be soft.

Eagle Farm Racing Tips: Saturday, June 7th 2025
Race 3: Magic Millions National Classic 1600m – 12:18pm (AEST)
(2) Pulchritudinous: 4YO Mare who won the NZ Oaks and then returned to Aus and didn’t handle the wet track. Most recently was terrific back on top of the ground winning at big odds over the mile at Doomben. Will be expected to run another nice race here, but wants the rain to stay away.
(3) Miss Joelene: Value pick of the race. She drops back in class and trip which looks ideal. Her runs three and four back were very good and stack up well for this race being back over the mile. Concern is the wide draw, but with some luck she can slot in and will be running on.
(8) Mare Of Mt Buller: We were with this mare last start and she was terrific through to the line having to do it tough and run on from the back on the wet track. Late sectionals were solid. J-Mac gets back on top who is unbeaten from 2 runs when aboard. Rock hard fit and ready to win.

Race 7: Eva Air Kingsford Smith Cup 1300m – 3:13pm (AEST)
(1) Giga Kick: 5YO Gelding who is a classy sprinter and was terrific to the line first up in the group 1 Goodwood at Morphettville last start. He was just too far back and left himself too much of a task there. Strips fitter now and will be a top hope once again. Goes well.
(10) Joliestar: 4YO Mare who has been super of late and deserves to be favourite here. Rock hard fit and was only narrowly beaten in the All Aged last start. Winner of the G1 Newmarket by 1.5L. Gets back to 1300m which looks suitable and she is placed twice on the soft track. J-Mac for Waller is a dangerous combo and she will have plenty of fans here. On top for me.
(11) Kimochi: 4YO Mare who was well held last start in the All Aged, but prior to that run she was sound in both of her runs. Expecting her to bounce back here. Craig Williams goes well when on top. Handles the wet, draws a nice gate and will be on the up fourth up. Value pick

Race 9: Ladbrokes Queensland Derby 2400m - 3:52pm (AEST)
(3) Statuario: 3YO Gelding who has been racing in terrific form. Dominant over this trip two runs back at Caulfield before tackling the SA Derby and found the line intently to finish second. In career best form and no reason he wont be around the mark for this. Drawn to effect. Major player.
(16) Femminile: 3YO Filly who surprised last start taking out the SA Derby with a terrific steer. Won well in the end. She is well rated for this and must be considered for the double. Draws okay and gets Blake SHINN into the saddle. Likes the wet and will have admirers off that SA Derby win. Value pick.
(18) Chase Your Dreams: Roughie of the field here. This 3YO Filly has been in terrific form stacking up three wins, two seconds from her past six runs. Chased well last start to only narrowly miss over 2500m. This trips looks to suit and Ethan BROWN jumps back on top who won by 4L last time he steered. He is also in career best form and will be looking to etch another Group 1 to his name. Draws a sticky gate, but will likely try and get to the front early and dictate. Blow out hope.
