Canterbury Park Racing Tips: Wednesday, May 28th 2025
Race 4: Exceedance @ Vinery Stud BM72 – 1550m – 2:45pm (AEST)
(1) Just Feelin’ Lucky $3.20: 3YO Filly who has been very good in her last two campaign with beining in the quinella in all of her last 4 runs. She is third up now and will only be improving. Beaten by DRIFT NET last start who returned to best form, so no knock there. Looks capable of this trip and is worth thought with the 3kg claim. Major player.
(2) Canara $6.50: 3YO Filly who is very honest, but finds it hard to win with the sole win to her name, but placed a further 8 times from 16 career starts. She is rock hard fit and looks as though she’ll appreciate the extra trip off last start. Draws well and will be hitting the line. Value.
(7) Kilkenny $3.20: 3YO Filly who passed first up over 1300m, but then absolutely destroyed them over 1500m second up at Kembla Grange winning by 8L. She has been freshened since and looks to be the one to beat off that last start demolition. J-Mac jumps in boosting conifidence.

Race 5: Asahi Super Dry - BM72 - 1550m – 3:20pm (AEST)
(7) Hell To Pay $3.00: 3YO Gelding who has put together a nice little resume with being placed 8 times from 9 starts. Knocking on the door in his last two. Handles the wet nicely and rates well here with the 2kg claim engaged. Must be considered.
(8) Pink Shalala $6.00: 4YO Gelding who strung together four good efforts including a win over this trip two back before finishing 6th last start over 1300m, but only 1.5L off the winner. He jumps back out to 1550m which looks more suitable where he has a nice record with a win and a second from the two runs. Enjoys this track and can handle the wet. Looks a nice bet.
(11) Maximum Dividend $6.50/$2.05: 4YO gelding who was super last campaign winning first up over 1630m by almost 4L. Finished second behind TAJANIS after that over 1900m which is a pretty handy formline. Resumes today and will be firing first up with two trials under his belt. Value pick.

Race 6: The Agency Real Estate – BM72 - 1250m - 3:55pm (AEST)
(2) Mogwai $5.00: 4YO Gelding who is resuming today and won last time when he was first up. Trialled well leading in and has been supported in the early market. Wet tracker. Chance.
(6) Toes In The Water $23.00/$5.50: 4YO Mare who was terrific in the early parts of her campaign last time in and then struggled in tougher company in her last two before spelling. She is a trial winner leading into the and has a fantastic wet track record. May need a run or two and slightly further, but matches up okay with the wet track record and with Keatings claiming 3kg. Blow out hope and worth a small go.
(10) Peschiera $4.60: 4YO Mare who has been solid in her two runs in notching up her maiden win last start comfortably. Drops back in trip now, but will be hard fit for this run. Unsure on the wet. Consider.
