The Demons recorded a brilliant win in Perth over the Eagles on Monday night and after Geelong and the Western Bulldogs both recorded losses in Round 21, the win sent Melbourne back to the top of the ladder. It was a massive outcome for the Dees, who had been slipping down the ladder and were in jeopardy of losing a home final.
The Demons have been fantastic against other top eight sides this season, but they have faltered at times when facing the minnows of the competition. They were beaten by Adelaide by one point in arguably the biggest upset of the year back in Round 10.
The Crows are without Taylor Walker for the rest of the season but apart from his absence, they actually have a pretty healthy list at the moment. Wayne Milera, Mitch Hinge and Luke Brown remain on the side-lines but apart from that, there are no long-term injuries in Adelaide.
Like the look of the under here. The Demons have had one of the best defences in the league this season, averaging just 65.15 points allowed per game. In their last five games, the Crows have scored an average of just 58.8 points. Back the Demons to put the squeeze on them here and keep this one low scoring.

Clayton Oliver has played 20 games this season and has accumulated at least 25 touches in 18 of them, should be a lock to do so again on the weekend, as will his midfield counterpart Rory Laird. Laird has also played all 20 games this season and has racked up at least 25 touches in every single game.
Ben Brown has been really slid over the last three weeks, seemingly cementing a spot in the Melbourne forward line heading into finals. He has kicked bags of 2, 4 and 3 in his last three games and the last time he faced the Crows, he booted 4.
