2018-19 NBA Betting Tips: Tuesday 11th December

December 10th 2018, 2:37pm, By: admin

For the second straight day on Saturday we hit on two out of three best bets. We now shift our focus to the huge 11-game slate on Tuesday where there’s plenty of value on offer. Check out our previews and betting tips for the big day here!

NBA Betting Tips December 11th

New Orleans Pelicans at Boston Celtics (11:30am AEDT)

The Pelicans will be playing the second leg of a back-to-back when they travel to Boston to take on the Celtics on Tuesday. The first leg of their B2B on Monday was in Detroit against a solid Pistons team. They managed to hold off a late Piston run in the fourth quarter to win by eight points, even though their superstar in Anthony Davis had just six points in 26 minutes for the game.

The Celtics have finally found their form and look like the contender we all thought they would be this season. They’ve won five on the spin to improve their record to 15-10, which places them in fifth position in the Eastern Conference standings. More impressive than the wins in their past five games is the manner in which they’re doing it. Four of those five games have been by 17+ points and the last win against the Bulls was by a whopping 56 points.

With Davis not at a hundred percent, the Pelicans on the second leg of a B2B and the Celtics in terrific form, we can only see this going one way. We expect a big win and any easy cover of the spread for the Celtics here.

Celtics -6.5

$1.90

Sacramento Kings at Chicago Bulls (12pm AEDT)

The Kings will continue their road trip on Tuesday when they travel to Chicago to take on the Bulls. The Kings will be playing the fourth and final game of the trip, where they’re currently 2-1 after three. Their most recent game was a 10 point loss to the Pacers, but they get a huge opportunity to get back on the winners list against a team in real trouble at the moment.

As mentioned above, the Bulls lost their most recent game by 56 points. That margin is the biggest defeat in the franchises history. As you can imagine and would probably predict, there has been a lot of backlash from that performance. The Bulls now sit on the bottom of the Eastern Conference standings with a 6-21 record and will be taking on a hungry Kings outfit on Tuesday.

We’re dumbfounded to see the Kings open at around $1.70 here. They’re by far the better team in this match-up and are coming up against a team whose player were thinking about boycotting their training session only yesterday. Again, we don’t see anything but a big win for the Kings here.

Kings -2.5

$1.92

Memphis Grizzlies at Denver Nuggets (1pm AEDT)

The Grizzlies have been one of the great achievers in the early part of the season and have grinded their way to a solid 15-10 record, which has them in sixth position in the Western Conference standings. They don’t quite have the star power of some of the other teams near the top of the West, but they certainly know how to fight.

The Nuggets are a few spots ahead of the Grizzlies in the Western Conference standings, currently sitting in third position with a 17-9 record. Their most recent outing against the Hornets was the fifth and final game of a five game road trip in which they ended 3-2. They now get to head back onto their home turf where they are 9-3 on the season so far. Jamal Murray has hit his straps of late, stepping up his play in the absence of the injured Gary Harris.

The Nuggets have the talent and the home court advantage here, so we expect them to put in a good shift. On their day they’re one of the best teams to watch in the NBA and we see them having one of those days against the Grizzlies on Tuesday.

Nuggets -3.5
