It’s been an extremely busy time to be a soccer fan, particularly the EPL with so many games taking place over the past couple of weeks. We’re now into Match Day 22 of the 2018-19 season and things are really starting to heat up. Here, we’ve provided previews and betting tips for the three best value games this weekend. EPL Match Day 22 Betting Tips
Leicester City vs Southampton (Sunday 2am AEDT)
The first of our weekend EPL tips comes from the mid-table clash between Leicester City and Southampton at the King Power Stadium. These teams played early in the season in Southampton, which ended in a 2-1 win for Leicester.
Leicester enter this game in some really nice form with a few major scalps over the past couple of weeks. They’ve won three of their last four games, which includes victories over Chelsea, Manchester City, and most recently Everton. This stretch has propelled them to seventh spot on the table.
Meanwhile, the Saints come into this games winless in their last three EPL fixtures, most recently drawing with Chelsea last week. They’ve had a really poor season to date by their standards, and are currently positioned inside the drop-zone in 18th spot.
On form you’d suggest this should be a comfortable enough win for the Foxes at home. They still have slight hope of finishing in a Europa League spot at seasons end, which means they’ll be fully focussed for fixtures like these.
Brighton and Hove Albion vs Liverpool (Sunday 2am AEDT)
Second up we’ve found value in the Brighton and Hove Albion vs Liverpool fixture. Like all games at this time of the season, this will be the second fixture between these clubs. The first ended in a 1-0 victory for Liverpool at Anfield.
Brighton come into this with just one win from their last six games, although they’ve been competitive in most of the games during that stretch. They’ve cooled off since a hot run of form and now sit in 13th spot on the table.
On the other hand, Liverpool are coming off their first loss of the season against defending champions Manchester City. It was a great duel between the two hottest rivals in modern day English football, but this time the luck wasn’t on the Reds side. Despite the loss, they’re still on top of the table by four points.
We expect a professional response from Liverpool here after a disappointing performance on Friday. It may be a quick turnaround, but they certainly have the depth and quality to do a number on their weaker opposition.

Tottenham Hotspur vs Manchester United (Monday 3:30am AEDT)
The final game we’re making a play on is the Tottenham Hotspur vs Manchester United clash. The Spurs won the first encounter between these teams earlier in the season at Old Trafford, thumping the Red Devils by three goals to nil.
Tottenham have had a sneaky good season, flying under the radar to sit just six points behind league leaders Liverpool after 21 games. Amazingly, they’ve won 16, drawn five, and had zero draws in their campaign.
Meanwhile, Manchester United have been somewhat reinvigorated with new manager Ole Gunnar Solsjkaer at the helm. They’ve won four straight league matches and have climbed to sixth on the table, closing in on the top four in the process.
United have been impressive of late, there’s no doubting that. However, Tottenham are a different beast to the teams they’ve been beating and the Spurs are still well and truly in the title race. We love them at even odds at home in this one.
