Cleveland looked destined to hand the Warriors their first victory of the 2017 Playoffs, up by six points with just three minutes to go and controlling all the momentum in Game 3 of the Finals. Golden State, on the back of some great shooting by Steph Curry and Kevin Durant then went on an 11-0 run to sink the Cavaliers chances in Game 3 and ultimately the series.
The Warriors now hold a commanding 3-0 lead in the series, a lead which has never been turned around in the history of the NBA. Golden State will be the 2017 NBA Champions, it’s a matter of how many games it will take them. The idea of the perfect 16-0 playoffs is still in play for the Warriors and after beating the regular season wins’ record last year with 73, a dominant performance in the playoffs such as this one will cement them as the greatest team of all time.
Cleveland will be absolutely deflated after the Game 3 loss. They’ll know that their chances of winning the title are obsolete and likely come out pretty lacklustre. We’ll get the game tip out of the way nice and early because we think this could be a blow out with the Cavs having little to play for. At just 6 points, we are happy taking the Warriors at the line here.

Durant is the favourite at the moment but a big shooting performance by Steph in Game 4 could earn him the chocolates. Steph Curry has managed to pull down 29 rebounds over the first three games due mostly to some great box out work and unselfishness by the likes of Draymond Green, JaVale McGee and Zaza Pachulia. He led Game 3 with 13 rebounds and the Warriors know that it’s beneficial for them if Curry or Durant grab rebounds.
