Aussie Daniel Ricciardo made it five podium finishes in a row on the weekend when he finished third in the Austrian Grand Prix. He’ll be looking for another strong finish this weekend when the 2017 Formula 1 season heads to London for the British Grand Prix.
Mercedes driver Valtteri Bottas claimed his second win of the season in Austria as teammate Lewis Hamilton had an off day finishing in fourth. With a second-place finish to Sebastian Vettel, the German moved 20 points clear of Hamilton in the championship standings with 11 races to go.
The 2017 British Grand Prix will be once again held at the Silverstone track, making it one of the longest running tracks on the Formula One tour. Hometown hero Lewis Hamilton has won the event the last three years in a row making him the red-hot favourite to win this year with the bookies.
Australian Mark Webber actually holds the lap record at the current Silverstone track but it’s Lewis Hamilton who has claimed pole position and driven the fastest lap in two out of the last three British Grand Prix.

Red Bull driver Max Verstappen has had an absolute horror run throughout the 2017 season so far, having to retire from five of the ten races including the last three. He claimed one of his five top two finishes in the British Grand Prix last year and claimed 11 top five finishes throughout the season. If Red Bull can give him a decent car and if he can stay in it for the entire race, he is always a threat and poses some good value now with his recent slump.

Ricciardo’s form is pretty undeniable at the moment. He has now finished on the podium in the last five races of the season and the British GP marked the start of a purple patch for him last year. He finished fourth in the race last year and followed it up with three podiums, watch for him to continue his solid form here.
