Wyong on Saturday will be headlined by the $500,000 Limitless Lodge Lakes Mile as part of a 10-race program. The track is rated Good, as temperatures are expected to soar to around 38 degrees throughout the day. Due to the heat, race one kicks off at 11:05am AEDT and the last is scheduled for 4:15pm. Trent Orwin brings you his best bets for the card below!

Wyong Racing Tips: Saturday, January 10th 2026
Race 5: Central Coast Community News Benchmark 78 Handicap 1200m – 1:10pm (AEDT)
(4) Hanau left James Cummings and Godolphin in the middle of 2025 after being sold and is now with Newcastle trainer Mark Minervini. Was last seen failing to beat a runner home at Rosehill Gardens in a race that was not run to suit for the backmarker. If it’s a more genuine pace, then the grey gelding could bob up here at double figures.
(9) Slinky is a five-year-old mare for Bjorn Baker that comes off a seventh placing at Canterbury. She doesn’t fire first up so the run was to be expected and should be better second up. She definitely gets better with racing so it may be a case of she needs another run under the belt – she can improve off whatever she does here.
(7) Princess Que has had two Flemington jump outs in preparation for her return and gate five looks good. She had good form last preparation and can run a bold race first up.

Race 8: Domeland Wyong Town Plate Benchmark 100 Handicap 1350m – 2:55pm (AEDT)
(1) Accredited will be asked to carry the topweight of 60.5kg in the event as he chases his first win this preparation. Four runs from the Joe Pride-trained six-year-old gelding have produced two seconds and two fourths this campaign. He was runner up in the Group 2 The Hunter (1300m) and then fourth in the Group 3 Festival Stakes (1500m) and fourth in the Listed Lough Neagh Stakes (1300m). If he can bring any of that recent form here, despite the big weight, Accredited should prove extremely hard to beat.
(9) Cavalier Charles has 52kg in the event and was a good effort to finish a narrow second in a Benchmark 94 Handicap (1400m) at Gundagai on November 14. A little let up should see the nine-year-old gelding ready to go and the smaller field should help.
(4) Whinchat resumed on December 7 at Rosehill Gardens, finishing sixth in a Benchmark 94 Handicap (1400m). Was given a barrier trial a week ago and will be right on the speed with Accredited as the two favourites look to lock horns up the home straight.

Race 9: Limitless Lodge Lakes Mile 1600m – 3:35pm (AEDT)
(3) Know Thyself is a five-year-old gelding that loves to win. He’s faced the starter 12 times, producing eight victories and two minor placings, with more than $1.3 million in prizemoney. The Paul Messara and Leah Gavranich-trained galloper is a perfect three-from-three when racing second up. He won a Benchmark 100 over 1400m at Randwick last start and this looks just as suitable with a couple of key rivals carrying 61kg and 59kg compared to the 57kg he has been allocated. Should map well from gate four.
(1) Robusto is on the seven-day back up for Bjorn Baker following a gallant second in The Buffering (1400m). The outside gate means the son of Churchill could be forced to work hard throughout the run, but his class is going to carry him a long way in the race with Josh Parr in the saddle.
(12) Sun God is one of four Chris Waller horses in the race and is likely to be back in the field from his wider draw. He was a winner three starts ago over 1850m and finished fourth of five last time in a small field. Should appreciate carrying just 52kg in this event and should be finishing strongly.
(3) Know Thyself WIN
