West Indies vs Australia 4th T20I Preview & Betting Tips
How Did They Lose That?
After having the Aussies 4/87 after 9 overs in pursuit of 215, with the required run rate pushing towards 12 an over, the West Indies looked certain to keep the series alive. However a horror three over span between the 10th-12th over, saw Australia go from dead and buried, to in the box seat. Gudakesh Motie (28), Akeal Hosein (20) and Roston Chase (23) conceded 71 runs between them.
Despite a solid start, the West Indies bowling attack was once again horrendous, as they conceded 215 runs in 16.1 overs. Akeal Hosein (0/39) was the only bowler to concede under 11 runs an over, as the Windies attack was smashed to all parts. Gudakesh Motie (0/38 off 2), Roston Chase (0/23 off 1), Jediah Blades (0/40 off 3) and Jason Holder (1/35) had no answers for Australia’s batting unit.
The big positive to come out of the game for the West Indies was the big improvement in their batting, posting their biggest score for the series with 4/214. To No surprise it was the contributions of their star opening pair as Shai Hope (102* off 57) and Brandon King (62 off 36) put on 126 off 70 balls for the opening wicket. Shai Hope batted through the innings, which was needed as the remaining batters in Hetmyer, Rutherford, Powell and Shepherd failed to score more than 12 runs.
Aussies Just Keep Finding A Way
For a side that isn’t considered as one of the best T20I outfits, Australia win a lot games. Australia have won 10 of their 11 games, thanks to a remarkable performance from Tim David. Australia were in massive trouble after falling to 4/87 in the ninth over, but David added 65 runs in a three over span to completely flip the game on its head. David smashed Australia’s fastest ever T20I century scoring an unbeaten 102 off 37 deliveries.
Mitch Owen 36* off 16 played a secondary role in the 128 run partnership which came off just 44 balls. Glenn Maxwell (20 off 7) got Australia off to a flying start before Mitch Marsh burnt him in a horrendous run out, while Josh Inglis (15 off 6) looked like he was going to produce another massive score.
The Australian bowling attack produced their worst performance for the series, with Sean Abbot (0/21 off 4) the only strong performer. Glenn Maxwell (15.5), Adam Zampa (12.75), Ben Dwarshuis (11.5) and Mitch Owen (11.5) all went at over 11 runs an over. On batting friendly surfaces and small boundaries, the Australian attack has done a great job and will need to bounce back in game four.
Here's Our West Indies vs Australia Tip
The manner in how they lost game three is alarming for the West Indies, a three over span over woeful bowling, fielding and captaincy decimated the game in the blink of an eye. Their body language and energy went in the blink of an eye as Australia steam rolled to an easy victory in the end. Every time the Windies have been challenged in a game in this series, they’ve gone to water with little resistance, and with the series gone, the final two games could get ugly with nothing to play for.
Remarkably Australia still have upside in their performance, with only two batters getting away, and only one bowler producing a strong performance. Australia’s depth with the bat and ball in this series has shown in each of the three games so far, and will show again in game four, as they make it 11 from their last 12.

West Indies vs Australia Prop Bet
Glenn Maxwell has been moved to the opening position in the last two games, and has threatened to go massive. Maxwell scored 12 in game two after taking down Akeal Hosein in the opening over, before blasting 20 off just 7 in game three, before Mitch Marsh cooked him in a horror run out. Maxwell is showing signs of going ballistic and with the series already decided, he could cash in big time on Sunday.
