Warwick Farm Racing Tips: Wednesday, March 11th 2026
Race 3: Hyland Race Colours Plate 1400m – 2:55pm (AEDT)
(3) Maidoff is still looking to break his maiden status with five career starts producing four minor placings. The latest came at Rosehill Gardens when beaten a length by Hay Street. The Clarry Conners-trained three-year-old gelding returns to his home track and from the outside gate in the field of eight runners, jockey Dylan Gibbons will press forward to race in the first couple. Deserves to win a race soon and this might be the one.
(4) Nordic Viking is a big danger if you excuse the first-up performance where he failed to beat home a runner. Prior to that, the son of So You Think raced against stronger company when sixth in Listed company and fifth in the Group 2 Callander-Presnell (1600m). Should be in the forward half of the field with Nash Rawiller picking up the ride.
(8) Spice Prawn has finished fourth in back-to-back races now over 1200m. Stretching out to the 1400m could see a change of fortune as the filly is potentially looking for further. Barrier five gives options and two starts back, she was finished less than two lengths back from Hay Street who has since won.
(3) Maidoff WIN
$2.90 (2 Units)
Race 6: Ranvet Handicap 1100m – 4:40pm (AEDT)
(5) Ernaux is one of two Chris Waller-trained runners in the race and the three-year-old filly is first-up from a spell with two trials under her belt. The latest behind Loreal Belle was a good effort, as she hit the line strongly in a 32.80 last 600m. Apprentice hoop Zac Wadick picks up the ride, which is probably a little query, as well as gate seven (one scratching so far). If she brings some of her recent race form, along with the trial, she can be finishing powerfully here.
(3) Nesrine won a hat-trick of races in October and November before being spelled. The four-year-old mare has trialled once, a nice effort, and should be ready to go. She will improve on whatever she does at her resumption.
(2) Thames has raced twice this prep for Gary Portelli and the daughter of Lonhro is getting fitter. She was fifth at her most recent, finishing 1.57 lengths behind Manukau. Expecting a good performance from her in this event.
(5) Ernaux WIN
$5.00 (1 Unit)
Race 7: The Agency Real Estate Handicap 1100m – 5:15pm (AEDT)
(4) Polyglot can often find one or two better, but he gets a chance to try and land the major prize, following a last-start second behind Signor Tortoni. Should map well in the race and be within striking distance when asked for the supreme effort. If he runs up to last start, he will go close to winning and handles soft and heavy tracks.
(6) Icarian Dream last ran in the Listed Magic Millions 3YO Guineas (1400m) when finishing seventh. Her form is strong; it’s just the potential heavy track that may be a query. She will also be giving them a head start from the wide draw.
(7) Our Queen continues to have short preparations and she is having her first run since October 2025. A five-year-old mare, she has only faced the starter five times, producing three wins. A recent trial win should have her ready to fire as all three victories have come when fresh.
(4) Polyglot WIN
$3.90 (1.5 Units)
