Warwick Farm Racing Tips: Wednesday, December 3rd 2025
Race 2: Petaluma Maiden Plate 1400m - 2:45pm (AEDT)
(1) Man Of Worth: The Irish import made a strong first impression when debuting in Australia back in March, finishing a gritty second over 1514m and suggesting there’s plenty of upside. He returns off a well-timed spell, tuned up beautifully with three trials — the latest over 1200m at this very track where he won nicely. Now under the care of Chris Waller and aided by a valuable 3kg claim, he profiles as a sharp improver fresh and looks an appealing value play in a winnable race.
(11) Pink Persuasion: The race favourite and another progressive type from the Waller yard. She’s built solid foundations in her first two outings, finishing third on debut before elevating to a strong second last start. Third-up now, she should be nearing peak fitness and maps for a soft run from the draw. The rise to 1400m looks ideal at this stage of her prep, and she shapes as a major player with natural improvement to come.
(1) Man Of Worth E/W
$6.50/$2.20 (1U/2U)
Race 5: Hyland Race Colours BM72 2400m - 4:40pm (AEDT)
(2) Bestower: 5YO Mare who has been excellent in defeat at BM78 level her past two, hitting the line with purpose and suggesting she’s ready to win. She drops back in grade here and steps out to 2400m — a trip that looks tailor-made for her pattern and recent strength late. Draws beautifully, and Tyler Schiller sticks after guiding her in both recent runs. The early money tells the story as well, firming from $3.40 into $2.60. She ticks a lot of boxes and shapes as one of the standout bets on the program. Major player.
(6) War Ribbon: A consistent type who has been honest in recent outings without landing. He finds a much easier assignment here and should be at peak fitness now deep into the prep. His best form is more than good enough to win this, and both of his career victories have come on soft ground — a key confidence boost with similar conditions likely. Rates highly and is right in the mix if he puts it together.
(7) Sting In The Tail: She was enormous last start over this trip at Rosehill, charging home from the back in tougher company and reeling off some of the better closing splits of the meeting. Drops in grade here and only rises 2kg for the effort, which looks very manageable. With a favourable draw and the potential to settle a touch closer, her late burst becomes even more dangerous. If she unleashes that turn of foot again, she’s a genuine winning chance.
(2) Bestower WIN
$2.60 (3 Units)
Race 6: Tab BM721200m - 5:15pm (AEDT)
(1) Confess Our Dreams: A genuine roughie with sneaky upside, gets in beautifully at the weights thanks to the 3kg claim. She draws a workable gate and should only improve further as she builds into her prep. Conditions are to her liking and the drop back in grade brings her right into calculations. She’s an each-way chance at odds and a live blow-out hope if things fall her way.
(13) Tequila Baby: 4YO Mare who is flying, having chalked up three wins from her past four starts and doing it with authority most recently. She steps up in class here, but the 1.5kg claim for Nock offsets that rise nicely. Drawn to perfection in barrier one, she maps to get every favour and be right in the firing line throughout. With her current form and the soft run she’s likely to enjoy, she looks the one they all have to beat.
(13) Tequila Bay WIN
$4.80 (1.5 Units)
