There’s strong cards all across the country with meetings at Sandown, Randwick-Kensington and Eagle Farm headlining the day’s action.

Today's Racing Tips: Wednesday June 29th

I like (3) Ramones here who ran 2nd to the smart Kibou on debut and then backed it up with another good run in a handy maiden field. Interestingly enough he’s changed stables to Joe Pride here and I think he looks ready to win. Draws perfectly for Collett and his race experience will take him a long way in this.
(9) Fashion Legend finally debut today off the back of plenty of work at the trials. He’s trialed a total of five times, winning twice and finishing in the placings on three other occasions. From a low draw he can be handy enough in running.
(14) Whinchat debuts for the new stable and showed enough on debut to think he can be competitive in this. A recent trial was very good and expect he will be wound up enough to win here.
(4) Sorgente next best and should take improvement out of the debut effort.

(6) Parlayed couldn’t have been more impressive winning well first up over this trip at Newcastle. That was on a heavy surface and I think she should only improve getting back on top of the ground now. Pikey takes the ride today and she’s a filly with plenty of upside.
(2) Ever Bella beat a good maiden field first up and will be fitter for that run under the belt. Nash sticks again for the ride here and I like her rising slightly in trip.
(9) Amathuba comes back down to Sydney after three runs this prep in QLD where she was solid enough. Inside draw with Tim Clark taking the ride is always a good combination. She can settle handy enough in running and could get away with this.
(4) Jayanthi is another lightly raced horse who has shown ability in her career to date. She’s yet to miss the trifecta in four runs to date and getting on top of the ground might see her improve again.

Think (1) La Vina is ready to win now 4th up and has been going very well this prep. She was very good two back and then never a real chance back at 1000m last start. Drawn perfectly here and rising to 1300m suits while she gets in very well after the claim. Peak fitness now and should be going close.
(13) Ravaged Award is building nicely this prep and has now strung together two solid runs off the back of a long break. She will enjoy getting out to this trip now and think she has a bit of class about her.
(5) Zimowy was getting warm at the end of the 1200m last start and is a winner over this trip previously. Looks to have possibly turned a corner but she doesn’t win out of turn.
(6) Minyinga started favourite in a similar race to this last start but just wasn’t suited by the way it panned out.

(4) Go Wandji looks well placed here in a class 5 and is a winning machine. Has won from six from nine and was very unlucky not to win last time out. Has had a little freshen up and that usually brings the best out of this horse. He’s unbeaten from three first up efforts and Larry Cassidy can give him every chance from barrier 4.
(8) The Lioness is a very good fresh horse in her own right and looks the main danger returning to the track today. Strong record at 1200m and has trialed up nicely for this.
(3) Dusty Tycoon gets a good claim here and could take some catching up on the speed. She will enjoy getting back out to 1200m after a couple of runs over shorter trips.
(14) In Awe Of Me next best.
