There is spice to this contest, and it's off the field, with former Manly coach Des Hasler now in charge of the Titans and is in a court battle with Manly over a payment. That aside, both sides are in form, starting with Manly, who comfortably disposed of the Newcastle Knights last week, with Turbo back at fullback and dominating in an awesome display. They are in the hunt to secure a top eight but really, if Turbo stays fit and can find his best, they can believe about maybe challenging for top four, but they need to win this game.
The Titans looked dreadful to start 2024 but they are getting better as the year goes on. They were too good for Parramatta last weekend but did lead 16-0 early and only won 24-16. They are a side that can leak points but at the same time, score just as easily. Dangerous footy team but the big loss is AJ Brimson, who is still struggling with a groin injury and they badly need him in the team in order to finish top eight. David Fifita was overlooked for Origin but that hasn't stopped him being quite dynamic over the last 4-6 weeks and is a big reason why they are in form.
Match Prediction: I think Manly at home will be too good, especially with Turbo back in form and DCE and Jurbo backing up from Origin. I just think they have too much class on their side against the Titans.
