Race 1: Midway BM72 1400m - 11:30am (AEST)
(3) Mailata: 5YO Gelding who has returned soundly with a fourth place when caught wide and then tried to dictate and lead second up over 1350m, but run down. Third up now and will strip fitter for the two runs and gets J-Mac into the saddle. Winnable race.
(4) Audreys Lane: 5YO Mare who won well first up over 1200m at Rosehill and then finished third last start over 1300m, but was held up. Previous winner at 1400m and looks to be going well enough to feature.
(8) Annies Rose: 5YO Mare who didn’t really get a crack at them first up, but second up savaged the line late to run fourth. Went for a trial and then got the chocolates over 1300m last start. Looks another key player.
BET: NO BET
Race 2: TAB Highway Hcp Class 3 1400m- 12:05pm (AEST)
(3) Occult: 4YO Gelding who has won his last three on the trot. Rising in trip now the only query. Early market support suggest ]s he will be running well. Value pick.
(5) Concoction: 4YO who won two on the trot before pulling up lame and going for a spell. Returned late March and won at Armidale in a BM66. Looks to have upside. Zac Lloyd steering boosts confidence. Goes well
BET: NO BET
Race 3: Catanachs Jewellers BM88 1400m - 12:40pm (AEST)
(4) Big Swinger: 4YO Gelding who returned nicely over 1200m and only finished half a length off the winner in BM96 grade. Down in grade now, but up in weight. Loves this distance and has to be a genuine hope. Will need luck from the draw though.
(7) Rue De Royale: Honest type who has finished in the quinella his last three and got a win last start at Caulfield over this trip. Can go on with it.
BET: NO BET
Race 4: Mostyncopper James H B Carr Stakes 1400m - 1:15pm (AEST)
(1) Plaintiff: 3YO Filly who remains unbeaten and featured in my top 3 picks last start at a nice price and won well at group 3 level. Looks to have upside and knows how to win.
(4) Tomato Toastie: 3YO Filly who only finished half a length off the favourite last start and had to do it tough sitting wide. 2kg swing in her favour for this and draws a nice alley. Likes the track and proven at this trip. Value play.
(9) Beside The Ocean: 3YO Filly who has shown she has plenty of talent. First up run was sound when drawing wide and having to lob rearward and do too much work. Draws kindly now and gets out in trip which is ideal. Jason Collett reunites who is 2 from 2 and she looks well over the odds.
(9) Beside The Ocean E/W
$21/$4.50 (0.5U/1.5U)
Race 5: Toyota Forklifts Frank packer Plate 2000m - 1:50pm (AEST)
(1) Matias: 3YO Gelding who improves as he gets deeper into his prep and he was only narrowly denied at Group 3 level last start. Rises in trip now which looks ideal and is proven third up. Ready to fire. Drawn well.
(4) Olympian: 3YO Gelding who strung together two dominant wins in the country and then tackled Group 3 company last start and had excused, but ran the third fastest last 200m of the day. Should relish the extra trip now and looks to be a talented type.

$4.80 (1.5 Units)
Race 6: Myplates Jra Plate 2000m – 2:25pm (AEST)

(14) Sunset Park: 5YO Mare who didn’t return as well we thought she would, but happy to forgive that run on her form of last campaign. Unbeaten second up and loves this trip. Sticky gate, but looks a nice blow out hope.
(15) Bear On The Loose: 6YO gelding who is rock hard fit and has a handy fourth up record. Good form at the track/trip, but still yet to win a 2000m race. If the rain comes he will be hard to beat.

Race 7: Moet & Champagne Stakes GROUP 1 1600m– 3:00pm (AEST)
(1) Campione D’Italia: 2YO Colt we were with last start and he won really well at group 1 level. Remains at group 1 level and looks to be a talented type. J-Mac steers from a nice alley and will have plenty of admirers. On top.
(3) Zambales: 2YO Colt who is still a maiden, but has had a few unlucky runs. Looks to be right up to this level and with the right run can play a big role. 1600m now may be the key. Value.
Also Backing: (3) Zambales $12 (1 Unit)
(1) Campione D’Italia Win
$2.80 (4 Units)
Race 8: TAB Hall Mark Stakes 1200m – 3:40pm (AEST)

(3) Jokers Grin: 5YO gelding who comes across from the west and is last years $5million dollar quokka winner. Trialled well and gets the booking of J-Mac. Looks set to make his mark in the eastern states. Hard to beat fresh.
(7) Kings Secret: 4YO Gelding who has a handy CV with 6 wins and 5 placings from his 13 career starts. 18 Days since his last race, but capable of a bold showing once again. At the price he looks value.
(3) Jokers Grin Win
$3.00 (2.5 Units)
Race 9: Schweppes All Aged Stakes GROUP 1 1400m– 4:20pm (AEST)
(2) Jimmysstar: 6YO Gelding who won this race last year. Hasn’t showed his electric turn of foot that we know he possesses, but cannot leave him out. Talented type who will likely be ready to peak third up. 1400m now looks ideal.
(8) Angel Capital: 4YO who has been good in defeat. Third in the Newmarket and than absolutely savaged the line last start to run second behind Jigsaw. 1400m looks good. Will be launching late. Of note, J-Mac has opted to ride for the first time.
(11) Fangirl: 7YO Mare who is very talented type and needs to be respected. Draws an okay gate. Goes well fresh and loves this track/trip. If she can still launch like we know she can, she will be in the finish.

$4.80 (2 Units)
Race 10: HKJC World Pool BM100 1400m – 4:55pm (AEST)
(1) Tavi Time: 6YO Gelding who boasts a pretty handy CV. Gets in nicely with the 3kg claim and is proven fresh and over this trip. Prefer him over further and deeper into his campaign, but not out of this.
(6) Lord Penman: 4YO gelding who was sound in defeat last start over further. Drops back to his pet trip of 1400m where he is 4 wins 1 second from the 5 runs. Rock hard fit fourth up and J-Mac jumps off Captain Furai to ride. Looks over the odds.
(18) Captain Furai: 5YO Gelding who has found his mojo this campaign and has been racing really well, including two wins. Every chance to go on with things here.
(6) Lord Penman E/W
$9.50/$3.00 (1U/2U)
