Draftstars NRL Salary Cap: $100,000

Hooker

Peter Wallace ($8,750) Penrith Panthers

Wallace has made a seamless transition from halfback into hooker this season. He is one of the only hookers playing 80-minutes which will increase his chances of earning a big score.

Half

Nathan Cleary ($8,800) Penrith Panthers

In his first season in the NRL, the 18-year-old Cleary has played at a level well beyond his years. He is averaging over 55 points per game and he will be highly involved this weekend as the Panthers look to book their place in the finals against the Titans.

Centre

Joseph Leilua ($9,850) Canberra Raiders

The Raiders centre has had a breakout season and is averaging just under 50 points per game. Leilua has a large involvement and has the ability to score a large amount of base points and has a high ceiling due to his attacking capabilities.

Isaah Yeo ($9,550) Penrith Panthers

The ability to choose a second rower in the centre position in Daily Fantasy Sports should be taken advantage of. Especially when a player like Yeo will play the full 80-minutes. Yeo is guaranteed to contribute a lot of points to your DFS team whilst he showed what he is capable of with the ball in hands with a solo try against the Tigers last weekend.

Wing/Fullback

Jarryd Hayne ($6,900) Gold Coast Titans

Hayne had a relatively quiet game against the Knights on the weekend and he left the field early with a concussion. However, he has been selected to play at his preferred position of fullback this weekend and this could give him the space in attack to break out.

Ben Barba ($6,650) Cronulla Sharks

The Sharks fullback has had a quiet month but we believe the side will be ready to explode into action after three straight losses. There is only two games remaining until the finals series begin and the side will want to build momentum and their attack starts with Barba.

Front Row Forward

Josh Papalii ($11,800) Canberra Raiders

Similar to our decision to select Yeo, the opportunity to select an 80-minute backrower as a front row forward will be crucial to our success. Papalii has a high work rate on the edge and will score well for us in the front row forward position.

Ryan James ($12,700) Gold Coast Titans

James has been one of the most devastating forwards of the season and he punished the Knights defence with two tries on the weekend. James will also play a large portion of minutes as his side’s season is on the line.

Second Row Forward

Bryce Cartwright ($11,550) Penrith Panthers

The Panthers five-eighth can be selected in the backrow and he will play the full 80-minutes. Cartwright has one of the highest ceilings of any players with his ability to offload and earn attacking statistics at will.

Wade Graham ($13,200) Cronulla Sharks

The Sharks left edge backrower will play the full 80-minutes and always has a high work rate. Graham is averaging just under 45-points whilst he also is a player with a high ceiling as he has is a solid playmaker and showed he can hit a hole and cross for a try on the weekend.
