Draftstars NRL Salary Cap: $100,000
Hooker
Jazz Tevaga ($5,000) New Zealand Warriors
As Isaac Luke is injured Tevaga has been promoted to the starting line up and played massive minutes on the weekend against the Titans for a solid score. At such a cheap price he will score well and free up cash for other positions.
Half
Shaun Johnson ($15,050) New Zealand Warriors
The Warriors halfback will have more pressure put on his shoulders due to the injury to Isaac Luke but he showed on the weekend that he is more than capable of getting the job done. He picked up a couple of try assists and showed a lot of composure and he should pick up plenty of attacking statistics on home soil against the Bunnies.
Centre
Tuimoala Lolohea ($8,850) New Zealand Warriors
Since returning to the fullback position Lolohea has been at his dangerous best. He will be involved in a lot this weekend and as mentioned above should be able to pick up a lot of attacking statistics against a weaker opposition.
Konrad Hurrell ($6,350) Gold Coast Titans
The Titans destructive centre is at a cheap price and is getting back to his best, as he becomes match fit. He has been able to cross for three tries in his past three matches and he will be hard to stop again this weekend.
Wing/Fullback
Ben Barba ($6,750) Cronulla Sharks
The Sharks fullback may have been kept quiet as his side lost to the Raiders on the weekend but we are predicting him to bounce back strongly against the Dragons on Saturday. The Dragons are struggling whilst the Sharks will want to return to the top spot on the ladder and Barba is having his best season since 2012.
Jarryd Hayne ($5,000) Gold Coast Titans
How could we not jump on the Hayne plane bandwagon? He is at bottom dollar and will be playing at five-eighth this weekend and has the capabilities of scoring a massive score! He is a must have in any side at the cheapest price available.
Front Row Forward
Ryan James ($12,700) Gold Coast Titans
James has proven he is a hard man to tackle and has embraced the Titans captaincy. He is leading from the front and has scored eight tries this season. He can go huge but will score over 40 regardless.
Andrew Fifita ($16,450) Cronulla Sharks
We are paying top dollar for Fifita as we fully know how capable he is of producing the best Draftstars score. He is up against a Dragons pack that isn’t very strong and we can see him earning a lot of points in tackle busts and offloads.
Second Row Forward
Bodene Thompson ($14,200) New Zealand Warriors
Thompson has shown how dangerous he can be with the ball in hand and has been destructive on the right edge. He has a high workload and is averaging just under 60 points per game.
Chris McQueen ($9,200) Gold Coast Titans
The Titans backrower will play close to 80-minutes on the right edge and will round out our team. The former Queensland Origin player hasn’t played to his potential this season but he is still a solid pick up for his price.
