Last week we made a last minute swap of Bunty Afoa for James Fisher-Harris as Afoa was ruled out with Bodene Thompson returning and our side was able to finish in third place for a profit of $185! We will be looking for a similar result in Draftstar’s Saturday shootout $2,000 guaranteed.

Draftstars NRL Salary Cap: $100,000
Hooker
Cameron Smith ($17,100) Melbourne Storm
The best hooker in Super Coach comes at an expensive price but he is worth it as he has an average of 65 points per game. The Storm are at home against a Bunnies outfit that has been struggling and Smith should go to work on them.
Halfback
Moses Mbye ($10,800) Canterbury Bankstown Bulldogs
The Bulldogs are up against the struggling Newcastle Knights and you will notice a trend throughout our team. We have picked multiple Bulldogs players, especially in the back line as they will be looking to rack up the points against the worst defensive team in the competition. Mbye will be pulling the strings and should finish the match with a high score.
Centre
Josh Morris ($8,600) Canterbury Bankstown Bulldogs
The experienced centre will be able to get the better of his opposition this weekend and with a high work rate he will be able to get a high score regardless of the attacking stats.
Will Chambers ($10,100) Melbourne Storm
Chambers has had a relatively slow return in his first two games back from injury. However, we are expecting him to put together a strong performance this weekend against a struggling Rabbitohs outfit.
Wing/Fullback
Will Hopoate ($8,200) Canterbury Bankstown Bulldogs
The Bulldogs fullback will be looking to have a big impact this weekend. Hopoate thinks run first with the ball in his hands but he is capable of playmaking and that is a dangerous sign for the Knights defence.
Curtis Rona ($8,700) Canterbury Bankstown Bulldogs
Rona finished last year in second place on the try scorer’s ladder but has had a slow season in the four-pointer department this year. However, this weekend he will have a great chance to rack up the attacking statistics.
Front Row Forward
Tim Glasby ($8,300) Melbourne Storm
Glasby had a successful return from injury last week against the Cowboys. His work rate was high and he should receive a lot of minutes again with a couple of the Storm’s forward still on the sidelines due to injury.
David Klemmer ($11,050) Canterbury Bankstown Bulldogs
Since Klemmer has moved to the lock position his minutes have increased drastically which has made him super coach relevant. The big forward has a high work rate during those minutes and it would be no surprise if he was to barge his way over the try line this weekend.
Second Row Forward
Luke Bateman ($5,300) Canberra Raiders
Despite being named on the bench, Bateman will receive a lot of minutes for the Raiders. Bateman gets involved in everything when he is on the field and is full of energy. At a cheap price he is a good selection to free up cash throughout the rest of your team.
Elliot Whitehead ($11,000) Canberra Raiders
Whitehead has always had the attacking capabilities but it has been his defence that has been the most impressive this season. Whitehead was leading the competition in tackles for a large portion of the year, which is tremendous for an edge player. He has a dangerous combination with Joseph Leiluia and Jordan Rapana on the right edge and he should score a lot of base points in a grinding match against the Sharks this weekend.
